Dauersack
Postal and Manhunt come to mind, though Condemned 1 and 2 also had some considerable gore in it. When it comes to most visible blood spilled I'd have to go with Prototype though, as my young self has spilled an oceans worth of it there, even if it was lacking in the gruesome and detailed gore area when compared to the others. Qhaotic Rebellion
Recent memory, Fallout 4. I know its not the goriest game out there but I hate gore and that's as far as I'm going. It took me a while to get used to Danganronpa and thats all Pepto Bismol.
PalaceOfLove706
I’ll add Hotline Miami 2 to the list. I know it was retro, but it was quite vividly done for what it was.

jackgalligan1
It’s been awhile since I’ve played it, but GOW 3 was a bit surprising to me in its brutality at the time
V-Trigger
Sleeping dogs have some brutal finishing moves, like putting the villain in the meat grinder, throwing the enemy and piercing him with spikes, rubbing the bad guys' face in fire, etc... MatThaRiPP3R84
goriest game ever is uncut Manhunt 2 pc. you can jump off a roof with a circular saw and have gravity cut people clean in half. or just repeated syringe stabs to the eye. endlessly brutal. the forest is pretty gory you get set upon by cannibals that live in the woods and you have to build totems out of their body parts to ward your camp from attacks, amongst other things. outlast trinity is constantly dark and pretty gory not as much as the others but the tone behind the gore is much much darker. resident evil 2 has some really great effects, acid rounds melt enemies this time round, keep firing and watch them liquify.
