Mini review, stats and tips (My plat experience)

Because there seems to be no guide of this game, i'll give you information based on my experience.

 

Time to platinum: +- 30 hours

Amount of social (bot) games done: +- 250

Difficulty: 2/10 (personal opinion) - the grind is the only thing making the game hard.

 

Last phase grind throphies:

- getting to lvl 25 with 5 characters

- getting 100 kills with every base (not leef, gant or flux) character

- Accumalting 1000 rocket time. For me the game mode did not spawn a lot. Got it while going for my last thropy (around lvl 90).

- getting lvl 100 with a single character (was my last one)

 

Tips:

- Make use of artifacts and experiment to your preference. I liked the purple category for 2nd and 3rd slot, playstyle around picking up items, wonderful synergy with my favorite character plink (boomerang item pickup).

- For me a FoV setting of 110 and a sensivity setting of 9 worked wonderful, but you might like something else.

- Some characters are focused on keeping a distance from your opponents and some of the characters are especially powerful and working more closely.

- Put on some favorite music because the grind may be boring on some point.

By far the biggest impact comes from time in game, giving 1-2k xp per match depend on length. Damage and ko's give a small amount of xp, by nothing meaningful per kill. Victory gives a decent chunk 300 xp iirc. There are also small contributions from objective play e.g time on mega rocket, coins collected, goals.

 

Overall due to the long matchmaking time I feel the optimal way to xp farm is to make matches last as long as possible whilst still winning the match.
