The number of trophy hunters per country for the top 100,000 trophy hunters

I just made a map. You can check the place and number of players in each country using this link. ?

If there are "100,000 places in each country", doesn't that equate to 100,000 trophy hunters in each country?

 

Somewhere there is a mistranslation or improper sentence structure.

 

It looks like you've mapped: The number of trophy hunters per country for the top 100,000 trophy hunters on PSNP. But there is no legend to explain what the different color shades are.

 

 

*Also note the "only 70 countries to choose from" are all the countries/regions that Sony allows people to select when making an account and PSNP is reflecting that.

I've always wanted a more concise breakdown (state/province/etc) of trophy hunters. This is a good start to what could be a huge undertaking if you pursue it further.

I am missing a percentage value based on the inhabitants.

In this case UK should be #1 and even germany is in front of US.

In case I did not forgot a very small country.

A better measure is the number o trophy hunters per million inhabitants.

What would be interesting is to know which country has the most trophy hunters in the top 100k based on the countries population. Would do the math myself but, i thought that 2+2*2 was 8 unitl like 3-4 years ago. I'm a certified idiot when it comes to complex math.

I'm surprised Sweden even has 741 in the top 100k considering Sweden only has a population of like 934 people.

And Sweden is in 17th place, just behind the USA

I'm totally blind and missed that. Sweden is the bottom country off all of Scandinavia. That's it, i'm moving.

For those who don't know: anyone can create a PSN account for any country/region they choose. The high concentration of Hong Kong accounts in the top 100,000 PSNProfile leaderboard participants is mostly due to the inexpensive exchange rate that allows them to obtain the trophies that put them so high on the leaderboard for less scratch.

 

Please don't book a trip to Hong Kong thinking you're just going to be bumping into PSNP leaderboard participants every block.
