Game frequently crashes

I recently got a ps5 and figured I'd play this game as it comes preinstalled on the system. At first, everything ran extremely well, I was able to get through all of GPU jungle and most of SSD speedway without a single problem. But all of a sudden, the game started crashing constantly. Now, when I open the game, it can't go more than 2-3 minutes without crashing and deleting my progress. Sometimes the game crashes before I even reach the title screen. I tried redownloading the game and I turned off rest mode since I heard that can cause issues, but nothing seems to be working. I was really enjoying the game up to the crashes and if anybody here knows how to solve this problem I'd love to hear the solution.

I've played demon souls and eldest souls and both of those work fine, it's just astro's playroom

Maybe you could try putting the console into safe mode and selecting 'Clear Cache and Rebuild Database'.

I just tried it, the game is still crashing. I don't know what the problem could be. I'd hate to have to hard reset the console but I might do it if it only costs a few hours.
