August is supposed to be my busiest month, but somehow I’m still finding time to play so hopefully I’ll be able to finish off the games on my Summer backlog list at least. Already I’ve finished Stray and SpongeBob, very much enjoyed Stray…mostly endured SpongeBob. I enjoy 3D platformers, I was happy to get this through ps plus, but I have no nostalgia for SpongeBob, I never really watched it or played any of the games, so I didn’t like it as much as I thought I would. I’ve also put a big chunk into Tomb Raider, I have most of the multiplayer trophies. I still need the level 60 one, but I’m level 40 something so I should get that soon

Uuuuuugh. So I spent the last two months dealing with bullshit from my landlord, a bunch of legal shenanigans, and brief sorta homelessness ("sorta" because some friends came through for me and helped me afford to stay at a hostel temporarily)... finally got my PS5 back from the people I was storing my shit with today and so hopefully I'll be able to make up for lost time now that everything's settling down again.

Okay, time for my August edit. Wanted to wait til the end of the month to see how my gaming motivation was looking, and it has gotten much better this past week. So...thankfully it's August and I'm able to remove games. I'm going to have to remove all my PS4 games for now since my PS4 is out of commission-and I don't know when I'll be able to get it fixed. The system operates just fine (will play Blu-rays, Spotify, launch the store, download online and disk-based games without issue) except for the fact that it...won't launch games anymore-thanks to one brief unanticipated power blink while my system was in rest mode. ?

 

TBH, that combined with a bunch of crap in my personal life put me off of playing games entirely for awhile unfortunately. I'm removing a few PS3 games too because due to various factors I no longer think I'll have time to complete them this year. If I manage to get my PS4 fixed, I might re-add some of the eligible PS4 games that were on my list.

 

ETA: I did manage to 100% rain at the last minute for August.

Here we go with a late update. I almost didn't complete my monthly game. With that said, I completed The Last Guardian and The Last of Us for this month's games. Took me longer that I was hoping to but then again, I didn't enjoy the game as much as I thought I would. Either way, got it outta way and now, I will be updating my list to an even shorter list because things have changed a bit in my personal life so I don't think I'll be able to achieve the 40-games list I had previously set myself to. Sorry to hear about everyone's troubles. Yeah, don't know if I can finish my remaining games in time, either, but I think I'm going to give it a shot, instead of removing more. FYI, @TimeLordCrow13y, nothing seems to happen when I click on the spoiler box in your last post (can't see your list), so you may wish to edit it. EDIT: disregard that, it suddenly works now!

How does Doraemon stack up with other SoS/Harvest Moon games? I'm interested because of the genre but I've never been interested in Doraemon as a show or character
