Popular Post Roundtoad
I had a great time playing this game, and I just wanted to share my experience with others, specifically in the hopes of helping newer players have an easier and more relaxing time trying to obtain the platinum. 1. No trophy is missable. If it's your first time playing, I would focus mainly on enjoying the story as everything is unlocked during the last chapter. 2. Your first job is to work on getting all the hubs and preppers connected to the UCA and Chiral Network (which requires 1-3 stars), this is because you cannot build or see other players structures in regions that are offline (blacked out) - more importantly, paved highways can only have materials contributed to them by other players once that region is online, this will greatly reduce the amount of materials you need to provide yourself. If a region on the map is blacked out, it means that there is a hidden prepper there that has yet to be connected to the network. 3. As with the above, some hidden preppers like the Veteran Porter, First Prepper, Novelist's Son etc. will seemingly not gain any rank when you deliver orders to them, this is because you first need to read their email, rest in your private room, and do another delivery to them. You may need to do this several times as some preppers are very stubborn. 4. After connecting everyone to the network, start working on expanding the highway. You'll get most of your rank-ups delivering large orders across long distances that requires a truck. 5. Create ziplines between hubs and hard to reach areas (especially in the mountainous regions), spreading out your zipline placement while taking advantage of other players online ziplines will help reduce chewing up your bandwidth. Use the highway to deliver orders between the 3 major hubs in the central region - Mountain Knot, Lake Knot, South Knot. 6. When your highways and ziplines are in place, do not forget to switch your difficulty to hard, as this is the only way to achieve Legend of Legends ratings. The difficulty is negligible, and the main difference is the damage you take from terrorists and MULES. 7. For Homo Faber (Fabricating all weapons and equipment) - there is a hard to notice tooltip when in the fabrication menu - there is a tiny black square on the bottom left of the item that is to be fabricated. If this icon has a check mark, it means you have already fabricated that item. Use this to keep track of what items you still need to fabricate. 8. As with the above, the "Reverse Trike: Ride" can only be fabricated once you unlock it after finding memory chip 31 9. Select your name in the Bridge Links menu to display your stats - mainly to keep track of the star ratings of preppers, the types of structures you have built, and the amount of Legend of Legends ratings you have obtained for each of the categories. 10. Lastly, the bola gun is basically all you need to deal with enemies. If you head shot them, they are instantly put unconscious even on the hardest difficulty. Once you have the enemy tied up, do not forget to kick them, as this will render them unconscious. I hope this helps anyone who is still playing during and/or after 2022. It's not a very hard game, but becomes tedious at the end if you don't have clear routes to all the different preppers and hubs.
CassyCZ
Hello, thanks for the tips, I returned to the game after 2 year hiatus and some of them were handy. Do you think you could specify #7 about the check mark for fabricating items? Maybe show a screenshot? I tried to look for it but could not find it. Thank you Edited January 31, 2022 by CassyCZ

Thank you Do you see the check mark on the lower left of the "Ladder's" description box? to the left of "Size", if this contains a check mark, it means you have fabricated the item already. Hope that helps =] Edited January 31, 2022 by Roundtoad Typographical error

cobaltTangerine
Thanks for the tips! As someone who hasn't played the game yet (I've wanted to for years and it is still sitting on my waiting list), everything you said sounds like another language! I'm sure it'll make sense when I get into the game. This game just sounds like one of the most bizarre concepts I've heard in a long time for a game that a lot of people seem to really like. Looking forward to it!!

Hey mate, yeah you can, if there are still active players that is, as roads and ziplines made by other players expire. You don't really need other players, but they do reduce the cost of building stuff yourself. On 2/2/2024 at 12:28 AM, cobaltTangerine said: Thanks for the tips! Looking forward to it!! The storyline is itself trip haha. It's a Kojima game so if you ever played Metal Gear Solid: Phantom Pain, you'll know how much of a trip it is. Have fun and enjoy! there's no time-gated or time-sensitive trophies, and even if nobody else is playing this online, you can still 100% it at your own leisure.
