Attention! Hide Black Ops 2 If…

Recommended Posts

Cheater removal team is removing people who got black ops 2 trophies and platinum in an illegitimate way.

if your in a lobby with a hacker and caused your game to unlock all trophies, or all DLC trophies, you must hide that game immediately before cheater removal team catches you and removes you from the leaderboard.

if you tried to appeal the flag, it’s going to be declined because of that hacker gave you the trophies, this also goes for the big leagues trophy, if you got big leagues trophies while it was unattainable since December 2015, please hide black ops 2 from your games list, if you hide that game before the cheater removal team catches you, you’ll be fine.

I’m letting everyone know about hackers giving players trophies

For those reading that this is new information for and that think this game might be getting singled out, it's not. The rules for the leaderboard are found here:

And the specific section this thread is describing is here:

Quote

Using CFW (Custom Firmware). This includes, but isn’t limited to:

  • Installation of CFW on your PlayStation system, resulting in trophies being earned or edited.
  • Modification of the PlayStation operating system, resulting in trophies being earned or edited.
  • Installation of homebrew and/or unauthorized software on your PlayStation, resulting in trophies being earned or edited.
  • Playing in multiplayer games with hacked lobbies, resulting in trophies being earned.

Using external software to alter PlayStation system or save data. This includes, but isn’t limited to:

  • Usage of unsupported software tools to unlock, edit, or alter PlayStation data files in any way.
  • Usage of PlayStation Emulation software or similar programs that may unlock trophies.
  • Usage of self-built game software / patches, modified data, or custom network software (*see exceptions below)

So this is the reproduction of the notorious thread of almost identical name for GTAV. Hacker autopop and the big leagues trophy in particular have been discussed to death already. No matter your personal opinions on the matter the site policy is clear and has been for years.

There is a better way:

Since PS3 is not syncing trophies immediately after popping, anytime when you will notice a bunch of trophies appearing out of nowhere, simply immediately switch off your console or AT LEAST disconnect it from Internet / quit to XMB and sign off from PSN.

Then copy your saves and/or important stuff to USB (I would not recommend to backup CODBO2 save, because MAYBE (I do not know this) it will autopop those trophies after you will put it back, so better leave it) and simply delete this profile from that PS3. It will wipe the unlocked trophies.

Reinstate your profile and SYNC it to PSN to avoid having "missing timestamps" next time when you will earn a trophy and sync your "empty" trophy list to "download" your previous trophies.

Voila.

Still think this game should be whitelisted from this just from how unavoidable hackers are at this point. The real question though is who's constantly patrolling the leaderboards for a game from 10 years ago to report people who got hacked without their consent. ?

Maybe CRT has script for it?
