Popular Post oxford_wolf007
Update 3 First month done! It seems like everyone is making pretty good progress on their lists! I forgot to post an update last Friday because Bridgerton season 2 dropped. Binging that was a priority so I didn’t play games until I finished the new season (regrets because now I have to wait a year for season 3). This week I was a bit sick, so I was able to stay home and finish up Infamous: Second Son. Spongebob: Battle for Bikini Bottom This was so much easier with a guide. I played most of it without, and collected just about all the golden spatulas, but the socks were eluding me. Going through each level with a guide makes it so simple, so if anyone is thinking of adding this to their list since it’s on PS plus this month, go for it. Ratchet and Clank The gameplay reminds me of Knack. I only played through the first couple missions so far. Infamous: Second Son Serious Nina Sharpe vibes from Augustine (maybe more like serious Fringe vibes all around?). I wasn’t really getting the story until I started picking up the audio logs (and, of course, the ending), but I ended up liking it. TV power was the best, in my opinion. Rocketing around with angel wings was awesome. I also liked being good waaaay better than being bad. Evil felt a bit out of character for Delsin. Overall, I thought the game was pretty good for being almost ten years old. Since I made some decent progress in the first month, I want to add a couple other games - Octodad and Immortals Fenyx Rising. Keep up the good work everybody! Popular Post gruffiiti
Here is what I been up to in the last couple of weeks. For April I hope to spend more time on Elden Ring, Rise of the Tomb Raider and also looking to throw Jurassic World into the rotation to mix things up a bit. Also been meaning to play Chicken Police and Limbo soon so they might just sneak in before next update too. Elden Ring Made some progress in ER with @Man of Inaction as finally some of the bosses we been killin' awarded trophies. Still many many hours left and I'm looking forward to all of them. Nostalgic Train Picked this up in a recent sale as it looked intriguing. It reminded me a lot of Everybody's Gone To The Rapture as it is mostly a walking simulator set in a strangely empty town in the Japanese countryside. You will need to explore in order to help unravel the story or stories in this case as the game is made up of 6 or 7 mini stories that all interconnect. Its not a long game as I think I spent 8hrs on it and explored everything. I'm sure it can be done much quicker even. Rise of the Tomb Raider Picked this back up and completed the first couple areas and the first challenge tomb. I must have died to the bear a couple dozen times as for whatever reason I couldn't get the timing right on the QTs even though they are so easy. It was pretty damn funny though seeing Lara get mauled over and over while I kept messing up. Planet Coaster I know this one does not officially count for this event but I started this one during the fall/winter event and finally knocked out the platinum. I have spent a fair bit of time playing this game lately so its a small victory. Now I can finally get Jurassic World Revolution on the go as I didn't want to have 2 sim games on the go at once. Event Games A Short Hike [PS4] - 100% Edna and Harvey: The Breakout - 100% Carto - 100% Nostalgic Train - 0% --> 100% Elden Ring [PS5] - 8% --> 14% Rise of the Tomb Raider [PS4] - 2% --> 5% Afterparty [PS4] - 1% South Park: The Fractured But Whole [PS4] - 1% Jurassic World Evolution [PS4] Lost in Random [PS5] Limbo [PS4] Chicken Police [PS5] Games completed (4/12) Edited April 1, 2022 by gruffiiti
Popular Post YaManSmevz
Update #4 4/1/22 How's everybody doin? I hope y'all had a good March on a personal level, cuz gamingwise it seems you all ate up the month for breakfast like it was nothin. Mad props to all the progress everybody is makin! It was kind of a bust for me, to be honest. Too busy, and I found myself burned out long before the month was over - ain't felt much like posting either, just kinda one of those. No matter, it's a new month! Adding MLB The Show 20 because I started 18 last week but 50% came faster than I realized so I didn't include it here. And I've still got that baseball bug, so while it will be a bit of a grind, I know it will be a pleasant one! Now in the interest of brevity (and since I ain't really done shit anyway), one sentence on each game's status: Cities makes me far more anxious than is reasonable because I can never seem to remember that A. it's not the end of the world if you can't keep all the citizens happy and B. they're not real people anyway. Yakuza 0 was the last game I was deep into before my gaming funk really took hold, but this game is so good - it's not Majima's fault!! Saving Resident Evil 4 for next month, and I'm legit excited for that one! I've got a few solid boosters for GTA V right now and don't want to squander the ability to get lots of heists done, also given the game's humor I'm surprised when I hit 69% I didn't get a notification saying "69 LOL!!" This is the month we take a real crack at that stupid jump rope trophy, because I really wanna play Final Fantasy IX but don't want to dive in with that thing hanging over my head! Still loving playing baseball, so MLB The Show 20 is gonna fit right in - or wait, since I want to play it maybe it won't... eh who cares. As always, thanks for reading and thanks for posting! Here's to a solid April?? 1. Cities: Skylines (15-->16%) 2. Yakuza 0 (35%) 3. Resident Evil 4 (0%) 4. Grand Theft Auto V (62-->69%) 5. Final Fantasy IX (8%) 6. MLB The Show 20 (0%)
Popular Post papert0wng1rl
Did March just fly by? It certainly feels that way. I did make a good dent in my original list, so I am starting to add some additional games into the mix. Hoping this spring will see me finally crossing off some long-ignored titles from my backlog. In March I completed Horizon Forbidden West, Ratchet & Clank [2016], and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. All were incredibly fun, which made up for a very successful month. No particular plans for April, except working towards the TLoU Part II plat along some new games I have borrowed and have to return by the end of the month. If I do exceptionally well, I might download one of the first games I purchased when I got my PS4 - Assassin's Creed Odyssey, - and start that. That would be a good one to add to my extended list. Heavenly Bodies Horizon Forbidden West Ratchet & Clank Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order The Last of Us Part II [14%] New games added: Beyond a Steel Sky
Popular Post neospoon
Update #5 swaps used 1/2 Celeste 100% (PS4) Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time 100% (PSVita) Dirt 5 - 100% (PS5) Homefront: The Revolution - 100% (PS4) Plague Tale Innocence 28% (PS5) Rage 12% (PS3) Homefront: The Revolution Last update, I was thinking about doing Plague Tale first, but since the other two games were FPS, I decided to go with one of them. Now HtR is not known for being amazing or great. I guess you either love it or hate it, which translates to: You played it after it got fixed or you played it when it came out… I bought this game day one. Not for any particular reason but I did. Back in 2016 I got six trophies and that was it, I didn’t like it. So after 6 years this challenge has me playing the game again and man I absolutely loved every minute of it!!! The game has its issues but it’s definitely worth a play if you like FPS games. Yes it has its flaws no it’s not perfect, but it works! The story is not all that great and even cheesy at points but whatever… Before I started this again I was deciding wether to go with one playthrough on Deathwish difficulty or do two, the first one on easy for all the trophies and a second run for the Deathwish difficulty trophy. I chose to go for two runs and enjoyed both of them equally. I also went back to back runs which normally burns me out almost instantly. Not on this game though, I breezed through Deathwish difficulty in a single day! The main campaign is a solid 10/12 hrs without having to do all the side stuff. Then there’s also some online co-op stuff that needs to be done. Even though I read all about grinds and the like it never felt that way. Five hours is not even that long if you ask me. I joined a boosting session and pretty much played with one other person until we were both done. I Also managed to help some others getting their easy/medium/hard runs out of the way. All that’s left now is the DLC which I will work on this weekend and hopefully will finish by Monday. This game can go on my ever growing list of “Why didn’t I play this sooner” (also the game is on sale right now for around $5 and the DLC is dirt cheap too… just saying’…) **EDIT** Maybe I should’ve waited with my original post but I guess the DLC was all a bit shorter than expected but really good nonetheless. Homefront the Revolution is officially done!!! Next up I don’t think I’ve ever been this dedicated on getting as much done as I have for these challenges. I haven’t really played anything else on the side. Just focus on one game at a time and get it done! Next up is going to be Plague Tale. Now in my previous update I said I was almost done and would have to backtrack with chapter select. But because of the stuff I’m missing, I might as well start a new playthrough with a collectible guide and get it done in one run. I like the game, but it is just 2 chapters too long for me Hopefully this will be as good as done by the end of next week! I also might start chipping away on Rage every now and then as I still have a lot to cover in that game. This might actually be the first time I finish my list completely! Let’s keep going and see where it ends! Anyway, that’s it for now. Hope everyone is doing good and having fun! Keep the updates coming!!! Popular Post Zvetiki
Month 1 of 3 finished, current status: * Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy PS4 (100%) * Valkyria Chronicles 4 PS4 (0% → 54%) * Root Double -Before Crime * After Days- Xtend Edition PSV (25%) * Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning PS4 (1%) * Costume Quest 2 PS3 (0%) * Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly PSV (0%) Swaps used: 0/2 I am about 50 hours in VC4, wrapping up A ranks and the remaining skirmishes. Then there will be some amount of grinding for money and expericne, but fortunately the luck based farming for weapons is done, so all remaining grinding will be deterministic with guaranteed progress. Overall, I am enjoying it. It doesn't have the charme of VC2, but certainly a more likeable staff than VC1. Some of the later missions rather coerce the player to use cheesy exploits, but that's nitpicking; certainly among the better tactical RPGs. Unsure about Costume Quest 2. It didn't click with me at the first try. I'll give it another chance -- it's supposedly short anyway, and CQ1 was quite OK.

Popular Post Heather342
Update 5 Hey challenge friends, hope you've all had a great week ?. Time for a quick progress check in. Overall I'm really happy with my progress this week. The only game I played was Catherine, but I've managed to clean up quite a lot. But I'm super pleased that I managed to finish not one, but two Babel levels this week! ???. I struggled so much with Menhir over the last few weeks I was beginning to wonder if it was gonna be a platinum breaker. But then I got a really good run, seems RNG was on my side lol. Then I unlocked the next level, the Obelisk. Although this level technically is harder with all the mystery blocks and monster blocks, I did manage to finish this one in just a couple of days. Again, it seems the gods of RNG were smiling on me that day ? Aside from Babel, I finished up all the remaining story endings, and I've done the first 64 stages of the Rapunzel arcade. All I have left is the bonus 64 stages of Rapunzel, complete the main story levels on hard difficulty with gold prizes, and then the final level of Babel - Axis Mundi. Keep up all the amazing updates everyone, you're all smashing it! ? Trophy progress: - Catherine - 57 -> 77%
Popular Post StilRh
Hi guys. Hope you've had a nice week. This week I was able platinum Dying Light 2, I really enjoyed the game (not as much as the original) but as a platinum it was a pretty awful experience. After much anxiety over missable collectables I had to exploit a glitch to get 1 million zombiebucks and then AFK rubberband my controller for 2 days for a 960km distance covered trophy. I got very close to the platinum trophy for Sakura: of Rice and Ruin. I just have to speed run 2 levels and then complete 100 waves of metal aphids in a minigame (I did a test run and got to wave 98 without prep so I think I've got it in the bag). I delved a little deeper into Horizon Forbidden West, remains an amazing game in my eyes but to avoid open world burnout I'm taking it slow. And lastly, I beat the next boss in Undermine and did my first 'good' run (I was stacking blessings and gear and came home with 40,000 gold for upgrades). Having a little more time free for hobbies I got Shadow Warrior 3 platinum on the side (PS Now title for me) as a palate cleanser. This week I plan to finish Sakura, work on my other current games and start LOH: Cold Steel 2. Have a great week! Popular Post iXanon
Update #3 - Swaps used 1/2 Final Fantasy VII (PS4) - 21% (D) > 30% (C) > 100% (S) Heavy Rain (PS3) - 11% (E) *SWAPPED* Need for Speed: Rivals (PS4) - 44% (A) Papers, Please (VITA) - 0% *NEW* > 100% (S) ✅ Resident Evil 4 (PS4) - 26% (D) Saints Row: The Third (PS3) - 26% (C) > 27% Stories: The Path of Destinies (PS4) - 0% *NEW* > 82% (A) Somewhat predictably, after finishing Final Fantasy VII, I lost my gaming mojo a bit. I didn't feel like playing any of the games I'd listed for this challenge. So I started a random freebie that I'd added to my library from PS Plus back in December 2016 in the form of Stories: The Path of Destinies and have been really enjoying it.. so I've decided to use it as a swap for Heavy Rain. As much as I'd like to play the latter, I also want to stream/record the playthrough for my website Umbrella Online and my capacity to do so is even more limited than my gaming time in general - plus I'm in the process of doing the same for Resident Evil 4. Stories: The Path of Destinies has a charming and underrated element of comedy that I appreciate, and each playthrough can be done in less than an hour - which is an advantage given that you have to finish the game no less than 24 times, probably more for the Platinum.. Once again I feel incredibly OP after unlocking True Hero, but since it's starting to feel like a bit of a grind for those last few trophies I don't mind so much. I've also been playing another PS Plus freebie from December 2018 in the form of Papers, Please on the Vita which I started whilst on holiday for a weekend, and have since finished and equally enjoyed it. It's very rare that I play on my Vita, so finishing a game from that platform in the backlog feels pretty good. I used a guide to attain the various coins and endings that are required for the trophies, but it didn't detract from the enjoyment of the game any. If anything, I think I would have become more frustrated by using trial and error.. I'm aware that we're entering Month #2 of the challenge and I need to up my game a bit.. Hopefully I can get Stories finished off next week, and perhaps look to returning to another game from the list for the coming weeks. I got the platinum for Trine: Enchanted Edition and played a little bit of Neptunia x Senran Kagura Ninja Wars, Super Neptunia RPG and Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth (which is an absolut beautiful metroidvania and could end as my game of the year, if the rest of the game holds the level of the beginning parts). Trine: Enchanted Edition: I think that most people know this game (or one of it´s sequels). It is a physics based puzzle jump ´n run with 3 characters with different abilities. For the platinum I needed 2 playthroughs. One on easy for all collectibles (atribute points/exp and equipment) and one with fully upgraded characters on hard with hardcore rule (dead characters can only be revived once per checkpoint). There are a few miscellaneous trophies for things like completing a level only with one charakter but most of them can be easily done on the second level of the game.

Popular Post damcrac5
Update #5 No completions this week. I was a bit all over the place playing 4 games at the same time, but I am close! Shadow of the Colossus 20% ---> 76% - I'm almost done with this one. Two more time trials left on normal difficulty, then farming the first two colossi until max health and stamina with a big climb and long ride. I'm going to talk about what I think of this game, but more so in the next update after I have achieved the Platinum (It's very positive!) Elden Ring 25% ---> 32% - Some more slow progress. I've been playing 30-45 minutes of it a night at this point. Not because it isn't great, I'm just really enjoying Shadow of the Colossus. I will have a tough choice once I get through SotC in if I press hard to finish Elden Ring, or if I focus more on The Last of Us! The Last of Us Remastered - No new trophies here, but I am on my last 3 weeks of my 2nd journey, which means I'm about 3 hours away from completing the multiplayer trophies for the game. With that out of the way, I will need to decide to clean this up before or after Elden Ring and or a couple other filler titles. This will be a decision made when I actually complete SotC based on how I'm feeling. I'm excited either way I go! Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time --->12% I'm somewhere in the 10-15% range. I haven't sync'd up my vita for this game yet. Maybe I'm scarred by my time with MGS 3, lol. I'm enjoying this game, despite it being the least favorite amongst the Sly fans out there. Either way, I'm going to be happy to finish this up in the next couple of weeks. Again, maybe 30-45 mintutes a day during the work week, so progress is slow, but by design. Hope everyone has a safe week filled with awesome gaming. Until next weekend (hoping to have 2 new plats!) Happy Hunting! Update: Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-shot Adventure [PS4] - 100% Persona 5 Strikers [PS4] - 100% Enslaved: Odyssey to the West [PS3] - 0% -> 2% Team Sonic Racing [PS4] - 24% -> 100% The Saboteur [PS3] - 0% Aaaaand Team Sonic Racing is done too. I didn't expect to finish the game this week but here we are. The gameplay was cool (as is the music like I said in my prev update) and I really got the hang of it by the end. However it is a bit challenging and often times frustrating, especially when your team mates drag you down in a race by finishing in the back and barely scoring any points. Then I started up Enslaved. I'm playing on easy and finished only 2 chapters for now. The camera is a bit janky and there are some texture pop-ins but the game is fun and I like the story so far. Right now I'm just going to finish the story then do clean-up then hard difficulty run. I've read the collectibles can glitch so hopefully that doesn't bite me in the ass later. That's it for me, I'll continue playing Enslaved next week. Keep on knocking those games out and slaying those backlogs everyone! Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Update 7 - Been feeling sick as a dog since last Thursday, I thought it might be covid, but after testing it looks like just a regular bout of cold and flu. Jamming a cotton swab up into your nasal cavity is one of the weirdest sensations ever and feels a bit like getting swimming pool water up there when you don't close your nose properly after landing in it. I still managed to get some good game time in and netted the platinum for Dark Souls Remastered. Dark Souls Remastered Spoiler Playing Dark Souls while in the midst of a cold, hopped up on ibuprofen, paracetamol and coffee is a unique experience. On a normal day, I thought Dark Souls looked and felt a bit like a weird fantasy dream where everything is a slightly distorted and off-looking version of a conventional fantasy trope. That dragon you are about to fight? Well it's sort of a dragon, it has a weird tentacle rear and odd looking wings. That Mimic that just jumped out at you, well it's sort of a conventional mimic, but it's sitting on the neck of a giant long, thin limbed humanoid instead. So playing this under the foggy haze of a cold was an even more unique experience. At one point I fell asleep mid-game on my sofa and had some pretty bizarre fantasy-world dreams. It was quite the journey, but I came out of it with a platinum in the bag, so I can't complain. The whole experience made me want to watch a movie called the Princess Bride again for some reason, which I definitely recommend anyone who hasn't seen it, it's a classic! This week: This week I'm aiming to finish off Tiny Tina's Wonderlands and very likely dipping into Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga which i'm incredibly hyped for! I started collecting and building actual Lego since January and I'm trying to figure out a decent place for my build journeys. I might set up an Instagram account for them or just go super straightforward and set up an Imgur album, i'll figure it out and pop a link here for anyone that might be interested in that stuff. Have a great week everyone and i'm looking forward to reading more updates Divinity: Original Sin GTA V Beyond: Two Souls Dark Souls Remastered Tiny Tina's Wonderlands - 2% > 23% Ghostwire: Tokyo - 0% > 14% Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga - 0% Edited April 4, 2022 by Crispy_Oglop
Popular Post TalesofGaming
Update 5: 1. Horizon Forbidden West - 100% 3/20/22 2. Elden Ring - 15% 3. Scarlet Nexus - 0% -> 2% 4. What Remains of Edith Finch - 0% 5. Haven - 0% Finally got around to starting Scarlet Nexus! I decided to start off with Yuito due to me being told it's like the situation with Jude and Milla in Tales of Xillia. I'm really enjoying it so far! The combat is very fun and easy to get used to. Bamco has been really solid with their JRPGs lately.
Popular Post Static_Rook
Update 5 - 4/4/2022 Katamari Forever 1% 13% Othercide 0% 50% Spent most of the weekend playing Othercide after swapping it in on Friday. I'm playing on the easier difficulty so progress has been pretty quick. I also started playing Katamari Forever a little. Almost through the first playthrough of all the stages and then I'll start on the Drive and Forever modes. Depending on how the collection stuff goes I may be able to finish it this week as well. Katamari is also on my list for the Ultra Rare challenge so it will be nice to finish something for that as well. If not this week then by next week for sure. I'll get back to Elden Ring eventually, too. Here's to another good week of backlog clearing! Popular Post Fanatixa1
Hi everyone, Here's my weekly update. I didn't make any progress on Horizon and the Escapist this week. I moved to Madrid last Friday and I'm staying in an Airbnb for a month until we can find our own apartment. The tv in this place is not very good, and I'd rather wait playing Horizon on a better screen. I made a lot of progress on Planet Coaster. I played this game before, got pretty far in the story mode and then lost my save. After this I didn't feel like starting again. This time it seems like the game is patched and it plays better. I'm almost finished with the story and will then complete the challenges. Shouldn't take me too long. For Yoku's Island I completed the story and I only need to complete the collectibles. It shouldn't take too long since there's good guides and the game is easy to traverse through. 1. Cook, Serve, Delicious 3! - 100% 2. A Short Hike - 100% 3. The Pedestrian - 100% ✅ 4. Life is Strange Remastered - 40% --> 43% 5. Yoku's Island Express - 38% --> 64% 6. Planet Coaster - 31% --> 71% 7. Horizon Forbidden West - 31% 8. The Escapist; The Walking Dead - 40% 9. Popular Post ConAir
Update #5: A busy week at work and lots of appointments prevented decent progress. This week won't be better, I expect. At least I unlocked a few Trophies in Need for Speed Shift. I decided to complete the Exotica DLC before I complete the main game. Level 50 and the 20 Epic Badges will take the most patience. Technically I don't need to do all the events of the DLC but if they come In handy for the Epic Badges, I will have them as a bonus. Games & Progress: (2/10) Astro Aqua Kitty (Vita/PS4) 100% Takotan 100% Need for Speed Shift (PS3) 45% -> 54% Blazblue Cross Tag Battle (PS4) 55% Rocketbirds Hardboiled Chicken (Vita) 18% Rayman Origins (Vita) 4% Red Faction Armageddon 10% Gynoug 0% Gleylancer 0% Team Sonic Racing 11% 1/2 Swaps: Smash Cars out -> Team Sonic Racing in.

If I remember right you can use the rivals in the DLC for the “beat all rivals” trophy. I can’t exactly remember but you need to beat all rivals in the main game which is 6 or 7? Do the ones for the DLC and then afterwards delete the DLC and those 2 will save you having to do at least the endurance one and another one of choice from the main game. It will definitely cut down in time! EDIT… Oops that was NFS Shift 2 lol Edited April 4, 2022 by neospoon
