Popular Post ArtisticGeek
Update #1 First game of the Month done, posting to confirm my List for the start of this event. I really enjoyed Beholder and DLC so I’ll have to get the second one as soon as I can. I had heard good things about it but didn’t want to look too much more into it and I was surprised at how much I liked the story. Because of my schedule IRL I gotta adjust my time so I’m gonna try and jump around games more and update on a more weekly basis instead of long single completion grinds I’ve been doing. 1. Hurricane_Tanya
Ok, I’m going to add an 8th game to my list because I’ve started playing it today and it seems pretty short. So I’ll add A Musical Story, of course I’d play a new game instead of sticking to my list. I am planning on playing some infamous later today though to make up for it Edited March 3, 2022 by Hurricane_Tanya Currently 17%, this is a quick game
Popular Post neospoon
Update #1 Swaps used 0/2 Celeste 100% (PS4) Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time 49% > 50% (PSVita) Rage 12% (PS3) Gran Turismo 7 0% (PS5) Plague Tale Innocence 28% (PS5) Homefront: The Revolution 13% (PS4) Celeste Normally I'm not a huge fan of retro looking games (pixel games as I like to call them) But Celeste was something else. The story was great, the controls even better and the music was fantastic! Although the game doesn't have a whole lot of mechanics, the ones that are in the game work perfect! I picked to play this game first because I knew it was short and relatively easy (with assist mode ON for B and C sides) and to get me in the right mood for starting this challenge! Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time I don't like Sly Cooper... I never liked him or his buddies... But I have to get this done. It's been sitting on my list for quite a while. Luckily I lost my save file so I can do everything I already did again... Yay lucky me. Maybe this time around I will start liking the game? I earned one trophy in it. Not really worth a mention but it's progress. I'll let you all know if my opinion on Sly has changed after I finish it. Next Here's me hoping the mailman will deliver Gran Turismo 7 today! I can't believe they actually released it without a single delay. And I'm super stoked to start playing it. It will most likely get in the way of getting Sly Cooper done this weekend but I don't really care **edit** GT7 will arrive tomorrow...**/edit** Happy hunting everyone, I'm looking forward to reading all of your progress!!! Popular Post Heather342
Update 1 How's it going everyone? Really excited to get stuck into a brand new backlog challenge event ? We're a couple of days in, and I have made a little bit of progress. Mostly this week I've been playing Gravity Rush. I know I'm late to the party with this one, but I only got myself a PS Vita in 2020 so I have quite a lot of catching up to do ?. I managed to knock out a couple more of the story missions, and now I'm up to mission 17 (of 21). But before I head into the end game I'm finishing up the gold medal challenges and clearing up some of the miscellaneous trophies. I still have the special forces DLC missions to complete as well, and then also the DLC challenges. I'm enjoying this game a lot, but some of the challenges I am finding a bit tricky (particularly slide races). The gravity races I do lose my bearings quite often too ?. But I think I should have this one finished up by the weekend. I've also played some more Catherine. I'm at the end of my first playthrough, and I got to the first of the 2 boss stages in nightmare 9. It was kicking my ass last night though, so I'll need to go back and try again on the weekend. I'd also previously unlocked the first stage of Babel, so I had a few goes at the Altar. My best so far was 87 steps, I think it's around 150 to get to the top in solo mode. Not bad for a first attempt I think ? Looking forward to reading everyone's updates! Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
It's finally almost weekend! I managed to finish off Horizon: Zero Dawn, which isn't part of my list, but it does mean I can now get properly stuck into the challenge wholeheartedly now! In real life news, I went on a nostalgia trip and ended up buying myself some physical copies of some PS3 games to add to my collection. I'll take a photo of them soon, but I ended up getting X-Men: Legends, Splatterhouse, Wolverine, Enslaved:Odyssey to the West, Silent Hill:HD collection, Silent Hill Downpour and Silent Hill:Homecoming. I was also after Spider-Man:Shattered Dimensions and Spider-Man:Web of Shadows, but good lord they are expensive. Grand Theft Auto V (Main game) Only a tiny bit of progress so far, but I'm only just starting to tackle things properly. I did a bit of trading in the in-game stock market in GTA V and progressed a small amount with the story. I also worked a bit on the Flight and Shooting skills for Michael, getting both to 100/100. The shooting range and the flight school really did a great job of maxing them out nicely. I'm also doing a bit of research into some good money making strategies too to work towards that 'spend 200 mill trophy'. Divinity: Original Sin - 11% Beyond: Two Souls - 10% Dying Light 2 - 24% GTA V - 26% > 27% Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga - 0% @Heather342 - I loved Gravity Rush, it was a bit frustrating at times, but it was a really unique gaming experience for me which I loved. I still need to try Gravity Rush 2 sometime soon. Edited March 4, 2022 by Crispy_Oglop

Overall, I don't have much to say about the walking dead: michonne. I mainly played it for the completion (I've played it before). If you like telltale games or easy completions, I recommend it. Although I don't think it's as good as some of their other work. Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare is coming along nicely. I was able to get enough star skip challenges to get a character to level 10, and I'm currently rank 40 of 50. I still have around 250 plant vanquishes and 120 zombie vanquishes for their respective trophies. Between those and the Garden Ops Craaazy difficulty, I'm probably only halfway to completion. maxfighter23___
On 31-1-2022 at 8:03 PM, MidnightDragon said: Mission 100%: Spring 2022 Backlog Challenge Special thanks to @damon8r351 @colinmazzini and @ShadowStar83x for their parts in hosting the challenge! If you're like me, you've got an insanely large backlog and have no good reason you keep putting it off and watching it grow. Why not do something about it? Like previous backlog challenges, this event is a challenge to the community to select between 5 and 25 games from your backlog and complete them to 100% starting 00:01 AM EST March 1 and ending at 23:59 US EST on May 31. If you complete the maximum of 25 before the end of the challenge, you can add up to 15 more games for a total of 40. Now, here are the details and rules. Event Philosophy: This is a firm commitment to complete the games you say you will within the time limit, so choose games you know you can finish, and select a manageable number. The minimum for the event is 5 games, and the maximum is 25. If you finish 25 games, you can add up to 10 more. You can change your games as much as you want until 23:59 EST on February 28. After the event begins, you can make up to two swaps. If you think there's a good reason to drop a game entirely without swapping (like your console broke or the game got damaged beyond repair), message me. If you want to add more games to your list or want to continue after finishing your list, you can add games to your list up to the maximum. Existing DLC counts in the challenge, but any DLC released during the challenge doesn’t have to be completed, but feel free to do so if you wish. Eligible Games: Any game with trophies are eligible for the event, with a few exceptions. One game can have a completion percentage of up to 50%, but the rest must be 33% or under. Unreleased games are fine as long as they're released and you buy them within the challenge's timeframe. If it gets delayed outside the challenge window, you can swap it and it not count against the two swaps. Standalone DLC (like Uncharted: The Lost Legacy) is acceptable as long as it's not part of another trophy list. If it is (Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare for example), you have to also complete the other trophies. You can also do a game where 100% is unobtainable if you feel strongly about it, but you must complete all obtainable trophies. Individual episodes of a game that has separate trophy lists, such as in early Telltale games or Broken Sword on the Vita, count as a single game; therefore, Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse counts as 1 game, not 5. For this event, you may complete a game you have previously done for a different platform or region before the start of this event, but you may not do the same game multiple times during this event. Cross-saving a game for an easy completion will also be ineligible. This includes autopopping a cross gen game on PS5. If you want it on both, you have to do it legit. Eligible Participants: Anyone is eligible to participate, provided you are serious about completing the games you say will. However, if you have flagged games on your PSNProfile, you are banned from participating unless you hide the games, get unflagged, or use a different profile. No cheating! Also, if you change your PSN ID, please let me know so I can update you on the list. I will update the participants at least once a day, but if I miss you, @ me or send me a message and I'll add you ASAP. Just thought I'd give a quick update. Managed to knock out Late Shift this weekend. What a game! Also made a littttle progress with Atelier Sophie 2. I'm a big fan of the Atelier games and I'm really enjoying this one so far. I'll stick to it for awhile and then quickly knock out Until Dawn. My strategy here is to finish everything by April and then spend the rest of the time working on Star Ocean. If it's looking grim with SO4, I'll try and get around 50% trophy completion so that I can roll it into Summer. Happy hunting, everyone! Late Shift Okay, I'll admit I had low expectations coming into this one, but oh boy was I wrong! I really enjoyed my time with this. I said to myself that if I don't care for it after the first playthrough (Each playthrough is 1 hour and there are 7 required for the platinum), I'd just abuse the pause and exit strategy to knock out everything within a couple of hours. As soon as I finished my first playthrough I immediately grabbed my wife and had her sit down for a playthrough. She isn't interested in games at all so I figured this sort of interactive experience would be more to her speed. Well after her playthrough she immediately wanted to go again and see what she could discover. We knocked out 6/7 endings together and then I just quickly abused the system to unlock the final one as I was a little impatient and wanted to get the plat before the end of the night.

Highly addictive, that game. From my list I played mostly Valkyria Revolution (currently in chapter 9 from 11) this week, which is a really long and slow game and The Sojourn, which I finished in 2 days. The Sojourn: I bought this game because the gameplay reminded me of The Talos Principle (puzzle solving in first person view). The game was shorter than I expected, but the puzzles were fun and some were quite challenging.

Popular Post StilRh
Hi guys. This week I have drilled into Dying Light 2 collecting as many collectables as I could before advancing the story beats. I am trying not to spoil the game through guides but I am aware of several points of no return which result in trophies becoming missable so have been cautiously hitting every side quest before doing the main missions. I love the game so far, it's pretty nice to listen to a podcast and jut grind collectables, farm some valuables or kill zombie hordes. I played Deep Rock Galactic and hit my 100 mission milestone. Still ambitious of me to think I could get the plat only playing 2-3 hours a day (across all games) especially as I'm goofing around and experimenting with stuff, I am not playing in a highly optimised way yet. I think once I get all the unlocks and promote all dwarfs once I'll start reading guides about how to min-max and how to get 100% in the shortest time, it might be this gets carried over to next challenge but I'll still be chipping away at it. Muvluv Alternative had it's saved data lost AGAIN, I was gutted as I spent an entire evening's planned gaming session skipping through the text to get me back to my previous place. I've advanced from then. I'm creating online save backups now to not lose my progress again. Determined to play this through to the end this challenge and have made sure my vita is always plugged as to not lose charge and wipe itself again. I finished chapter 7 and saw some major plot developments, it's got it's hooks in me!! There are parts of the story that deal with trauma and PTSD, I think these are really well written and researched. I can relate to these (having some similar experiences with CPR on a patient some weeks back) and it's really restorative to have a safe fictional way to unpack some of the challenges I'm facing in my life. Undermine has been a blast, I found some hidden NPCs and am starting to get my head around the bless/curse system, it's quite a gentle roguelite. It makes me want to play others like Isaac and Gungeon, but I think the high skill ceiling, randomisation and time demands to 100% would just frustrate me. I'm still gutted about my hands not being able to keep up with the frenatic action of Hades (will go back to that when the time is right). Undermine has a nice metaprogression system that helps scrubs like myself, but the challenge is not to be underestimated. Last but not least, Sakura: Of rice and ruin is an amazingly comfy game. I love the way it approaches the farming element of the game and how it is balanced with the 2D action parts for progression. The characters are loveable and I'm digging the story so far. It feels so Japanese-y, I think it's going to set me up for Okami perfectly. I'm really surprised they released this in the West, but but so glad they did. Next week I will try and spend more time on adancing in Dying Light 2, Muvluv Alternative, Deep Rock Galactic. I think my chances of getting a plat are low but the following week I should be in a strong place to knock one or two off the list. Have a great week Spoiler Deep Rock Galactic 28% > 34% Dying light 2 45% > 64% Elden Ring 8% Horizon Forbidden West 10% Legend of Heroes: Tales of Cold Steel 2 10% Muv-Luv Alternative 13% > 16% Nier Replicant 31% Okami 18% Sakura: Of rice and ruin 0% > 14% Undermine 30% > 37% Edited March 6, 2022 by StilRh

Back in October I'd set myself the challenge of finishing this game by the end of June, so it made total sense adding it to my list. I've progressed from the end of Disc 1 to the end of Disc 2 (PS1) in the space of a week, and have fallen in love with it all over again. If I'm able to invest a similar amount of time this week, I envisage a greater percentage increase and building up toward defeating the Weapons for the first time ever. I absolutely refuse to resort to God mode in order to do this. Heck, I'm using X3 speed whilst battling in Mideel with great reluctance.. ? Popular Post YaManSmevz
Update #1 3/7/22 Man, it's that time again already? After a fairly productive week, GTA V is officially ineligible for any other of these challenges! I forgot about how weirdly wonderful and awful the online mode is. It's such a great concept, and it's realized about as well as one could expect... but man. So many children screaming into their mics, so many gamers apparently playing a game of "guess what I'm eating," so many white boys saying words they really ain't gotta be sayin, just a lot of unpleasantness. But ultimately that's the minority (I choose to tell myself this), and for the most part it doesn't get in the way of how much fun is to be had. Put my Yakuza shoes back on as well, and while getting combat skills back to where they were is taking a bit longer than expected, it's still a blast, and this story is kickin into high gear. I'm still low key dreading Legend difficulty, but I'm just glad to be back on the proverbial horse! Contemplating adding a less demanding game to chill out with a bit, but not sure yet. Will have to see how next week goes. In the meantime, keep dem updates comin, we're off to a solid start? 1. Cities: Skylines (11%) 2. Yakuza 0 (22-->27%) 3. Resident Evil 4 (0%) 4. It’s kind of like Spider-Man if you were killing everybody instead of webbing them to walls. I just unlocked the static thrusters so now I’m ‘flying’ all over the place too. I wish the aiming was a bit less awkward, but it’s a game from 2009 so what should I expect. A Musical Story is a very short game in theory. There are 24 chapters each consisting of 3-7 short riffs that you need to copy. You have to have a good sense of rhythm though because there’s nothing to show you when to press each button only the background music. This is why it’s taking me longer to finish…that and the trophies for doing each chapter perfectly. I’m going to dig out my headphones and have a go whenever the cranky baby is napping. Hopefully it’ll be finished this week. I might even get to be the first to platinum it which would be a nice bonus

Ratchet and Clank (22%) PS4 8. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (10%) PS4 9. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (32%) PS4 An ambitious list so we will see if I finish everything and add more later First game done Tomb raider was a really good game with a decent story, the variations with the tombs and crypts varied and I enjoyed it enough to buy the dlc for it as well. The bad parts of the game for me was the repetitive nature of the dlcs etc time attack then score attack plus finishing them in story as well was a bit too much. Also the hard difficulty wasn’t so much hard but frustrating when your last camp fire was miles away and you die during a parkour segment in a dumb way and needed to repeat like half hours work. overall I’d rate the game 6/10
Popular Post gruffiiti
Well just like last month I start out with a backlog completion that was not on the OG list and I have decided to start up Elden Ring as well. So pretty much threw my list out the window. A Short Hike Heard good things about this game and with a busy weekend I felt like something light. It was a fun little game and kept me entertained. The motorboat challenge annoyed me as the controls weren't just push left or right as expected (at least I expected that) so I kept screwing it up. My daughter asked to try drive the boat and bested my time by half a min on her second try to destroy the challenge. Maybe I should call on her if I get stuck on an Elden Ring Boss Fight too... Haha. Event Games A Short Hike [PS4] 0% --> 100% Rise of the Tomb Raider [PS4] - 2% Afterparty [PS4] - 1% South Park: The Fractured But Whole [PS4] - 1% Jurassic World Evolution [PS4] Lost in Random [PS5] Games completed (1/6)
