Lobby Issues?

I’ve just started playing this a week ago on PS5 and have had issues with multiplayer lobbies from the beginning. The lobby fills up and errors out for most, if not all, during the load screen just before the game starts. I know because I’m matchmaking again with a lot of the same people from the previous lobby straight after the error. I’m waiting in a lobby for half an hour sometimes just for the game to fail as it’s about to start. I’ll be able to actually play maybe 1 out of every 10 matchmake attempts. 
 

I’ve seen a few Reddit posts talking about this issue from the past two weeks, so it seems it’s a recent thing and not only in the Aussie servers where I’m based. I’ve tried a VPN to see if other places have the same issue, and they do. Activision’s support says all is fine on their checker website, so I’m at a loss and extremely frustrated.

Alot of Bo3 multiplayer lobbies have hackers now. Happens to almost every old cod eventually.
