*Potential spoilers* talismans

Once you get a talisman, does it stay forever or do I need to do them all in one shot? For example, if I get the talisman for the 1st boss, warp to the 3rd level, then go back to the 2nd boss, with the talismans for both the first and 2nd boss show up in the last level?

also on the last level right before the final boss you have 4 icons on the walls that will glow, where previously they will be blank slates to show that you've gotten what you need, in case there's any remaining doubt for whatever reason.

 

Also on the board when hovering over the portraits, there's gonna be a circle around them instead of an x. but yeah you're good regardless.

what if you killed a boss after sparing them, would you lose it? 

 

just curious because the list of the targets (in the main hub next to the level select) is not crossed anymore after sparring them, so I'm wondering would the names get crossed again if I killed them now
