PS5 games with good graphics

19 posts in this topic

I recently purchased an LG Oled tv and wanted to play something to really see how the tv can improve the graphics. The only games I have played on it so far are Prey, ps4 games which I was half way through once I got the tv, and Little Nightmares 2, ps5 with the free upgrade. I wish I had kept my version of Rachet and Clank now lol. Any ideas on games which really excel on the graphics? I would image they would be ps5 games but I do remember playing the Last of us 2 and thinking wow.

I imagine Horizon: Forbidden West will look good. The prequel looked excellent on my LG OLED with only PS4 Pro and Decima has improved since. Other ones I can think of are Demon Souls Remake and Death Stranding: DC.

Pretty much any big AAA game that isn't outright broken (cough Battlefield 2042 cough) would look awesome but yeah, Forbidden West seems to be a benchmark for open-world graphical power and the Demon's Souls remake is absolutely stunning as well.

This is like asking which Nascar goes fast.

The answer is all of them.

Horizon Forbidden West is definitely at the top of my list. It’s good to hear that Ghost of Tsushima has top graphics as that is another game that has been on my radar for awhile. I would like to play Demon Souls but I’m a bit on the fence about Death Stranding as I’ve heard mixed reviews.

My next TV is going to be LG OLED and i am sure Gran Turismo 7 will look good on that. Also any game with 120fps will look good on a OLED

If it’s your kind of challenge then the Demon’s Souls remake will give you some reward for your eyes…

It Takes Two. More so great visuals, not graphics. A game that should age well compared to games that try to be super realistic but didn't have the technology.

PS5 native games: Demon's Souls, FF7R Intergrade, Guardians of the Galaxy, Tsushima, Horizon 2, old PS4 games that still look amazing, Arkham Knight, God Of War

Returnal, GoW, Demon's Souls, Resident Evil 8, GotG, Kena, Control. Like many others have said, pretty much any native PS5 game will look amazing!

Best looking games I've seen solely through their NATIVE PS5 versions:

Horizon: Forbidden West

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

Guardians of the Galaxy

Spider-Man

From my experience; Demon’s Souls (PS5), Ratchet and Cland: Rift Apart, Final Fantasy VII: Remake and Resident Evil 8: Village impressed me with their visuals

EDIT: Also Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Hitman 3 and Returnal looked very gorgeus

The Outer Worlds looks awesome and runs at a silky-smooth 60 FPS.

Night and day difference between the PS4 and PS5 versions (well, technically there is no ps5 version).

Vouching for Gran Turismo 7. I was sitting pretty with my 65in FHD Sony Bravia LCD TV until I experienced the intro to GT7 on a friends LG B1 4K OLED. Ended up splurging on a 65in LG C1 the next day. 4K and HDR really is a pairing in heaven.

Any first party from Sony will make your jaw drop, that is for sure.

Shoutout for Demon Souls and Horizon Forbbiden West, it's hard to explain in words, on a large TV they look phenomenal.
