scavenger location 190/191

so all i need to do is get the last scavenger location for the plat but its glitched is there anyway of doing this without restarting

If you don’t have any more icons on your map then yes, you’ve ran into the glitch. Do you have a backup save?

Backup from before the glitch is the only way man. It especially sucks with servers down now. Have to be real carefull about dying while the game is saving unfortunately.

Depends if you have an earlier save without the glitch. This can be in another saveslot or a backup save on USB/cloud.

If not then you won't be able to platinum it since the challenge related to collecting scrap while offline is no longer possible making the 'complete all challenges' trophy impossible.

 

You can calculate if you have the glitch on a save or not: The challenges unlock in different steps: X/5, X/13, X/18 and X/191.

So if your challenge progress says 10/191 this means you have 5+13+18+10 locations done => 46 locations done according to the challenge.

This 46 should also show in the stats at completed locations, if the number is different, then you have the glitch.

 

Make this calculation first because there was 1-2 locations that didn't show up on the map until you're close. So you might miss one.

Suspected reason of the glitch occuring: Dying after completing a location but before a checkpoint/save.

At least one location is locked until you proceed further into the story and some are only shown on the map when you are close to them. I suggest you to get a map with all scavenger location and visit them one by one, if you are lucky the issues is that you are missing one location rather than being affected by the glitch.

Here's hoping you've made plenty of auto-saves and at least one of them isn't glitched. Otherwise, you are screwed.

The 190/191 glitch was what made getting this Platinum one of the most nerve-wracking and annoying/tedious Platinums I've ever gotten.

easier to do the math on it rather than searching one by one. Taking a few minutes to check the math shows whether or not it's glitched.
