Gran Turismo 7 - Trophy Thoughts?

surprised at how straightforward it looks. i still have to do that autobahn trophy in GT6 so that'll be a grind here unless they've somehow made it so it counts your lobby's collective distance driven toward your total. at least there will (presumably) be tracking from the PS menus this time. otherwise, unless there's a really hard license test or two, this should be the easiest GT plat yet.

A fairly Gran Turismo-friendly list if I ever saw one. Feels like being home again after a long journey, I’m quite looking forward to playing it ?
 

And as the icing on the cake: no damn MP trophies !!!! ?

I'm not a sim racer guy, but the list doesn't look bad aside from the mileage trophies and especially the online ones. I just absolutely hate grindy trophies like that. I just spent the last three months finishing GRID because of their idiotic mileage trophy. It's not even skill dependant, just time consuming.

I've been contemplating getting a wheel and pedals for ever.... This looks nice! Not too much skill stuff (the licenses could be). 

 

Im definitely excited, and might pick up the ps5 when i can, together with a wheel and pedals

There is 4 there is 2 for sport mode and 2 for getting a lot of miles.

Those seem to be the only online trophies. Nothing difficult, but certainly a grind.

I think the list is not bad. I don´t like online trophies on any game these online trophies is grind,not difficult, just patiente.

Just thinking,well i can race online with others and not do it qualy,start the race at the back and just race without pressure,just to it for klm count. Is just a matter of time to get.

And Sport Mode do it 50 races i presume you have to finnish the race and no DNF result, like MotoGP online trophies.

They're very easy though, and only time consuming. Polyphony should have kept the 91 wins trophy from GT Sport, or reduce it to something like 50 wins.

Apart from Gold in all licenses and whatever the requirements for the finale are it looks like another very boring Sony trophy list

I was hoping for a single player trophy list, but that online distance trophy is horrible. Think I'll leave it and get it as cheap as possible for the none completion account.

Honestly since there's a trophy to reach 600km/h, there will be some oval tracks where you can get like an average of 450km/h, more or less. That's like about 30h of rubber banding really. + if you just do the 50 Sport races, you'll have put a dent in the mileage already. Don' t discard this game just yet.

just do all online first, get The grind out of The Way. Thats what im planning to do.

Considering the game has a dumb penalty system most of the time and has a lot of dirty players, just playing 50 runs without worrying about wins is fine.

I'm glad there are no sport mode wins trophies.

 

I've heard that your DR and SR rankings from GT Sport will carry over to GT7, so if you already have a high ranking but not many wins, this is great news.

Online races? I know it’s an online required game but was hoping I could avoid arseholes (humans).

Also means I’ll need to buy it close to release while it’s populated (which I suspect is usually the idea behind such trophies)

With it saying 'Driving with other players online' im hoping it will still count from just doing races normally in sport mode, rather than having to invite others to races

Looks fun. Reminds of GT5 which was a blast. Hopefully a proper challenge in getting those license golds.

Getting gold on the licenses might be hard or not. Online trophies looks like a grind for miles. Not too bad for the trophy list.

I wonder if the distance related trophies like “Drove the length of the one complete 24 hours of Le Mans race: 2209.536km (1372.942 miles)” require these miles to be done on the respective track, or if it a cumulative of 1372 miles across all tracks?

Getting wins in online races is a much better idea for a trophy then just driving a certain amount of miles as the win requires at least a bit of skill and you feel a reward for the trophy while driving around is just a stupid way to make the player play the game if he cares for the trophy.
