Proper trophy guide?

Could we please get a proper trophy guide for the people that don’t want to cheat. It’d be nice to know what I’m in for before I start.

It's tough to write a guide, as playing legitimately can still vary a little depending on if you play PVE or PVP, and whether you decide to play single player, official servers or unofficial servers - mainly because all of those have different settings, on single player you can adjust yourself but for everything else they are set by official rates or whatever the unofficial servers are set up as.

 

Time wise legitimately, you're probably looking at a couple hundred hours.  Whilst the early stages of the game you'll mostly be leveling up, building bases, taming dinosaurs - during the later stages you'll be breeding dinosaurs to get optimal stats to beat bosses (dragon boss and ascension boss is no joke - even with good dinosaurs, best saddles etc.)  I do recommend finding other people to play and tribe up with as it makes it a lot more fun, plus you have someone to watch your back when you're doing cave runs 

 

I've done both official and unofficial servers, and if given the choice I would recommend unofficial as often they do have tweaked rates which makes things a little easier (like faster breeding/maturation rates, faster taming)  This is an important factor as some tames in the game take hours to do, raising dinosaurs can take days on official unless there is an evo event going on.  Single player you can obviously tweak all the sliders however you see fit.  Just to mention as well, on official and unofficial servers, time still progresses even when you're logged off so you'll have structure decay, dinosaur decay etc.  With single player, when you log out it freezes time.

 

Trophy wise when playing legitimately, your hardest barriers are probably going to be the bosses (mainly dragon and ascension) and taming all the dinosaurs, primarily because you need titanosaur and that's a gigantic pita to tame.  With the notes, most can be reached on foot or with tames.

 

There are actually some fantastic YouTube guides out there to help new players, and they can probably explain things better than I could.  I've tried to sit down and write a legitimate guide for this a few times, but there is a lot of information.

Imagine getting called a cheater for using an in-game feature deliberately placed there by the developer, while simultaneously watching someone else try to legitimize using a guide to hold their hand through the exact same game.

The in-game feature is actually called "Cheats." I imagine that is what they are referring to.

Still cheating. I want the play the game as it was meant to be played. Games are more than a means to pop a trophy

I wasn’t asking for a step by step walkthrough. Just a trophy guide. Some of us like to play games without debug. It’d be nice to see what you’re up against doing it normally. That’s all

I get it. 

And after haved watched a video guide for all the codes that are needed for the trophies, I think that I will simply pass. Too many codes, not worth the trouble only for a platinum that hundred of people will get using the same method. 

Unfortunately I don't have the patience to play a game like this legit, I don't like this survival games, but yes, doing it legit will have a much more value, and I totally understand that some people will want to do it in that way.
