SSS Stages DO COUNT for 1000 Races

hi there everyone 

 

i finally got the platinum yesterday and for a wonderful game it overstayed its welcome with the accomplishments

 

heck the time needed to grind after the 500 wins to do 1000 stages n 5000 KM you could platinum WRC 8 in that time frame that how long it takes 

 

anyway i would like to report to you all and end all of the questions is that SSS Staged do count to the complete 1000 stages trophy

as you can all see ive been doing Coffs constantly most of the grind after the 500 wins mark 

note that i stated this game end of last year with the latest patch to boot 

 

also there are times i felt unmotivated or boredom kicked in and sometimes i just leave the game for a break 

for a good game the 91 accomplishments kills the spirit of it and makes it more tedious than it really should be  

it should have stopped at the 500 wins but noooooooooo they had to drag it 

 

since 7 is the same im gonna pass for now no need to kill my mood so im doing Dirt games now

Oddly enough I have 20 online race wins but I don't have the 10 stages online wins.

all a pleasure helping the gaming community just as I learn from all of you .

 

it bothered me too and I checked many sites but my living proof that I did it .

 

now that I’m doing dirt 2.0 it’s a more serious game than even wrc8 

 

wrc 8 was even more sim like then 6 

 

but I like GT so it’s not an issue

Dirt 2.0 is the hardest racing game I ever played. Much more fun with this WRC.

 

Yep that's confirmed by other comments I found too that the SSS offline counts.

But each accomplishment seems to have those rules, some Stages awards only counts with proper stages, others counts everything, some online others only offline and so on.

yeah I checked true achievements, PlayStation trophies n even steam community

Yeah this is 100% true, i just had the complete 500 stages pop up when doing Aus Coffs SSS on repeat

I have done 502 stages 312 stages and 190 sss stages and no accomplishment has popped

some of the wins were from the online but not every type counts i believe .

You have to account for however many "online" stages you did, as they get added to those totals but don't count

 

I used the 500 stages pop up as a marker, so i knew id done 52 Online stages

Can anyone confirm if you can use the SSS stages for the 400 wins or do they have to be actual stages?

The 500 stages notification came up for me when doing SSS on repeat, so yeah

Thanks for the quick response Hedley.

I actually persevered with the SSS on Coffs and the 400 wins for the Elite accomplishment popped.  I had to account for the 80 online races I'd played, 3 online rallies and I had lost a couple of stages here and there when grinding out the snow and tarmac distances.

I was also a little worried about pressing square at the end of each race to restart it.  I can confirm that pressing it does not affect your progress in case anyone else was wondering.  Saves quite a bit of loading time too.
