For honor strict connection

Hi guys,

 

any idea or tips how to change connection type in For Honor ? I have strict there. in PS4 network I have Type 2, should not be a problem... ANybody have the same issue ? Thank you

Hello, I had exactly the same issue as you, but there is a way to get an "open connection". You have to "open" (or forward) the ports used by the game to communicate with the net. You can do this by yourself by entering your router configuration options and forwarding these ports to your console (the exact way of doing this will depend on your particular router, but usually you input its IP address in a web browser and you get into it). You will need to know the mac address of your console, which you can know by checking your internet status on your ps4 (sorry, I don't remember the exact location, but it is one of the options within the "settings" menu). Besides, you also need to know the ports the game uses for each protocol (TCP and UDP), which you can find in the following url:

It only takes 5 minutes to forward these ports, then restart your router and your game and you"ll see your connection type says "open" with green letters :-) At least, this is how I did it. I hope it helps.
