Dawn of Ragnarok DLC

The Dawn of Ragnarok DLC adds a new area (Svartalfheim) and a new story quest, mysteries, treasures, and artifacts to complete/collect. It plays very similarly to the main game's Asgard and Jotunheim sections; however, with the added addition of new Odin Powers. The achievement list is pretty standard for these DLCs, focusing on completing the main questline, upgrading abilities, completing everything on the map, and finishing some miscellaneous tasks. Another straightforward completion, but a larger timesink than the previous DLC additions.

Over the Hills…

Complete all territories of Svartalfheim (Dawn of Ragnarök)

Similar to Completionist All The Way! from the main game and the other completionist related achievements in the other DLCs, this requires you to complete every item on the Svartalfheim map. This requires collecting all wealth, completing all mysteries, and collecting/completing all artifacts on the DLC map. If you synchronize all viewpoints in the game, this will reveal all wealth and mysteries on the map.

Ashes of Svartalfheim

Complete the Dawn of Ragnarök campaign (Dawn of Ragnarök)

Story-related; unlocked for completing the final main quest, 'The Reckoning'.

It's All in the Wrist

Kill 30 enemies with an Atgeir (Dawn of Ragnarök)

The Atgeir is a new type of two handed weapon introduced with this DLC. Multiple wealth locations across Svartalfheim will reward you with an Atgeir; however, you are given one early on through the DLCs main questline. Simply equip it and use it to kill 30 enemies. This can be done in Svartalfheim or any of the other maps in the game.

Aesir Spelunker

Discover all Shelters (Dawn of Ragnarök)

Story-related; unlocked for completing the main quest, 'Seeking Shelter'. You'll need to use the markings on your map and the arrow clues around the areas to find the three hidden shelters.

See No Evil

Teleport-Assassinate two enemies and fly away without being detected (Dawn of Ragnarök)

You'll need to unlock a couple of upgrades to perform two teleport-assassinations and escape as a raven. First, I recommend the Raven Endurance upgrade to increase the Power of the Raven's duration, making escaping even easier. Next, you'll need the Jotunheim Assassin upgrade, so you can actually perform teleport-assassinations. Finally, you'll want to unlock the Hugr Reaver upgrade to add an additional Hugr bar so you can use two powers consecutively. Additionally, you may want to unlock the Jotunheim Endurance if you are struggling with getting two teleport-assassinations in one use.

Now, with two full hugr bars, head to an area with enemies and use your bird to mark two enemies that are separate from the main group of enemies and have some space from each other. Each teleport-assassination uses your full stamina bar, so you will need to wait a few seconds before you can perform another teleport-assassination. Use your Power of Jotunheim to teleport-assassinate one of them, and then the other. Immediately after the second teleport-assassination use your Power of Raven to fly away from the area and land in a safe spot.

Flying Fortress

Reach a Muspelheim Monolith (Dawn of Ragnarök)

You'll need to collect enough Silica (5) and Giant Feathers (20) to upgrade your Power of Raven's endurance. With the upgraded duration, you can reach the Muspelheim Monoliths (floating red rocks) by flying to them from viewpoints and other highpoints around the map. Each monolith will have a Ember of Muspelheim, which is used to upgrade your Hugr-Rip for Hugr Incarnate.

See the video below for more information.

Hugr Incarnate

Fully upgrade the Hugr-Rip (Dawn of Ragnarök)

The Hugr-Rip is a new piece of equipment you will acquire early in the DLC's main questline. It allows you to use new powers that you can steal from enemies (Power of Jotunheim, Power of Muspelheim, Power of Winter, & Power of the Raven). Each of these new powers have two different upgrades, the Hugr-Rip can be upgraded once to increase your Hugr Bars from one to two, and there are four Versatility upgrades available. The Hugr-Rip can only be upgraded by a Blacksmith at the Shelters in Svartalfheim.

You'll need to acquire the following to fully upgrade your Hugr-Rip:

60 Silica (From raiding Mylna locations)

40 Giant Feather (From killing and looting Giant Ravens that can be found around Svartalfheim, they always drop 2)

40 Living Spark (From killing and looting Muspels, especially Flame Keepers as they always drop some)

40 Magma Blood (From killing and looting Muspels, especially Ash-Bringer and Brann as they always drop some)

40 Jotun Seidr (From killing and looting Jotuns, especially Jotnar-Djevelen as they always drop some)

40 Frozen Blood (From killing and looting Jotuns, especially Jotnar-Guld as they always drop some)

9 Ember of Muspelheim (Collected from the Muspelheim Monoliths mentioned in Flying Fortress)

Expert Storyteller

Tell Kára a Tale with at least four Boasts (Dawn of Ragnarök)

Kara's Domain is unlocked after collecting your first Heroic Saga. The Tales you can tell Kara are based on your progress through the base game and DLCs. Kara also offers her own Tale; however, you cannot change the boasts of her tale. The earliest you can do this is after collecting 4 Heroic Sagas. Return to Kara and choose a Tale (preferable a low difficulty one) and then select a combination of 4 boasts to add to it. Complete the Tale by defeating the enemies. You'll need to collect the 14 Heroic Saga artifact collectibles scattered throughout Svartalfheim to unlock all 14 Boasts to tell Kara on your way to earning Over The Hills....

Motsognir's Blessing

Purify Hreidmar's Cursed Armor (Dawn of Ragnarök)

Hreidmar's Cursed Armor can be found in the Hodda Shelter in Vangrinn near the blacksmith area. This armor is cursed and will slowly kill you if you use it. First, you must complete the five Jotun Blight artifacts located in Svartalfheim to unlock five clarity runes. Then, socket a clarity rune to each piece of the cursed armor to negate the cursed effect and equip the full armor set.
