JD-D2 Posted March 17, 2022 Share Posted March 17, 2022 (edited) I'm OK with lowering the payouts of easier races; incentivizing players, unintentionally or not, to play the same dirt race repeatedly is not good game design. Nobody wants to do that. But only bumping up two of the higher-spec races is terrible. At least give the MP races a higher payout — those will naturally be the hardest of them all and take the longest to do given the lobby wait times. While it's clear they plan on supporting this game over the long haul, it's already lacking in cars and tracks compared to older GTs. Nobody has to pay MTX to enjoy the game — and outside of this stinginess, I really think it's great — but nudging us this hard in that direction when the game already costs $70 and demands a major time investment to truly enjoy is pretty scummy. In any other game, players would already go to the barricades and make the developer undo everything. But it seems like very few people care. I find this development incredibly frightening and shameful. You already pay 70 euro/dollar mininum here and are really forced to take money in your hand again. Make sure you're only increasing the body rigidity (it's in the "semi-racing" section of the tuning shop) of cars you bought yourself from brand central. Gifted cars you won from events (the ones with the little "gift box" symbol in your garage) do not appear to count toward the trophy, according to other users here. It costs less to increase the rigidity of cheaper cars, so just get those and it should work. Unlocked it myself two days ago. If you're doing this already and it's still glitched, then ignore me. I did exactly that and the trophy is bugged/glitched. I bought only new cars from brand central and increased their rigidity using the tuning shop. TaggumAndBaggum Posted March 17, 2022 Share Posted March 17, 2022 I wish they had fixed serious bugs with this patch such as the inability for loyal customers to unlock the 3 cafe related trophies "start your first menu" "complete your first car collection menu" and "fulfill the requirements for ending" on a second version of the game after beating it on another since there is no autopop / in game trigger / option to replay the campaign rather than nerfing the amount of already hard to earn credits we can receive from races. It seems very rigged. 90% of the time i only get the smallest money reward…. although i got lucky once and won 1 million credits. I could be naive, but I’m expecting a few random payout increases next week with a nice apology credit bonus. One mil or else. I don't see why else it would take this long. As for an apology, the only apology you'll get from them is a tweet. You really think they're gonna give out free money just like that? Just wrapped up a brutal work week, cancelled any and all plans with humans with the aim of grinding GT7 dirt races (the least satisfying races in this game) to get some overpriced cars I’ll never drive, and I turned on my console to see this update, knowing that Polyphony was going to screw us over somehow.
