That is definitely the reason, they bought another legendary car to re-pop, and they are missing the exact 3 trophies that are currently unattainable with any stack of the game. It's always been dream cars all along because of the cars history.

Yeah that person got the trophy on the PS4 version on April 19th. They likely uploaded their save to PS5 later on and popped the trophy on that version.

Really curious to see if the cars will appear in the same order or will be random and if so, the cars we need for the trophy will appear at the end of the second cycle!

So yeah, my ps4 trophies are cafe bugged and I was away from my ps5 for couple weeks. I could not platinum my ps4 game so first thing I did when I got back, I drove 1 sport competition and bought random legendary car. Platinum popped straight away. Now waiting for that trophy fix.

 

Edit. Doubt that there are other cars for the legendary trophy than ford, jag and ferrari.
