Best friends forever trophy

Hey everyone 

 

I'm struggling to unlock the best friends trophy. I've played through the game in story mode 6+ times already making sure to pick 1 person twice to visit after school on each playthrough. I've had every single one of the 4 friends help me at least once during the fight with Grim. I don't know why the trophy isn't unlocking. 

Is there an issue with only having 3 save files and the 4th playthrough overwriting one of the saves? Or is the best friends progress saved separately in a main safe file or something like that? 

 

At which point did the trophy pop for you guys? After visiting the last required friend at home? After the Grim fight? At the end of the game? Any help would be greatly appreciated
