The bank update - new trophies

Hi guys, 

 

Just a heads-up that there a 3 new throphies for an update called the bank. 

 

They look simple enough: 

- Reach the bank;

- Complete the game with maximum debt (according to the wiki you can borrow money to 20 000 and when you don't pay it back, you get a curse);

- Kill a mimic vendor (according to the wiki, there is one mimic vendor in the bank level. Just buy something and the vendor will turn to attack you). 

 

The update is live. I'm going to check it out right now

 

Edit: all trophies work and are very easy to get

LMAO I literally just spent the last week or so going back and getting all the DLC trophies. Two days ago I got the final one for the perfect 100 and when I saw Dead Cells was sitting at an "A" rank I had to do a double-take. Thankfully, Dead Cells is freaking amazing so coming back for more is always a pleasure.

Maximum debt gives you a 100 kills curse. Same thing as regular cursed chest, but ten times the amount. If you use manual saves than it's not hard at all.

God damn it.   I wish they stopped adding new trophies.  Just create a sequel or something.  I'm sick of having to play this game over and over again.  I was done with it 2 years ago.

They announced the release of "The Bank" DLC on Twitter and ended with this sentence: 

 

"Oh, and more updates and DLC are coming in the future!"

 

Soooo... This won't be the last time we return to this game 😅

I'm usually not one to complain about DLC, but this one really didn't add anything of value to the game. It is pretty unecessary, especially given that the lore was already finalized with the Queen DLC, and the Bank doesn't really introduce anything new or interesting gameplay-wise... We'll see what will be added to the game in the future.

Just a heads up to help people on this one. You can use the aspect “Damned” at the beginning of custom runs (guy is right below where you select your boss cell) and you only take and deal double damage with that aspect on. Manual saves also of course help but the aspect simplifies things so much.

Got all the trophies already. For maximum debt I was able to get the Money Shooter tactics weapon and completely destroy every enemy with the amount of the money I had (30k). For me atleast, the damage was crazy: 35k damage for only 150 Gold.

Same here. Tried a manual save, quitting out of the game, reloading my save after starting the game again, still nothing.

Do you have the skip cutscenes option enabled? That caused some to the Queen trophies to not pop for some people, maybe it's the same here.

Strange.  They all popped fine for me.  If you're running in custom game mode, make sure the trophies are still enabled.  I noticed when I changed the cell count from 5 to nothing, for some reason some of the equipment got removed as well, and I was below 20 pieces required for trophies.  Luckily I saw the red warning right before launching the game.
