Beware of game crashes that corrupt your save upon game restart

I've only played Elite on PS5 and the stability isn't great, the game will crash fairly recently and will sometimes result in a save corruption message when starting Elite up again.

If you get this kind of game crash, not only are all your custom settings including galaxy map filters etc reset to default, it also messes up trophy count.

 

Currently I have 40 CQC wins with no 25 win trophy, and 13 community events with no 10 community event trophy due to these crashes. 

 

I may continue only on ps4 and hope the stability is better, but also considering giving up all together on Elite, which is a shame at 76% trophy completion.

This bug has been in the game since the beginning but the devs haves done very little to fix it. Also, the game is reportedly not that stable on the PS4 either .
