Finally got the plat.

Oh ok, that's good to know. Speed up/down wasn't a feature in the original release, didn't know it was included in this one.

I actually just got this, I'm pretty sure I just got lucky, tried counting a couple times and trying to time it, but it didn't work. I just let it spin for a bit, then hit X, seemed to work, somehow I did it, don't hit it right away without it spinning, usually goes South that way. It's definitely a pain since they took using pause out.
Alos88
Can anyone confirm if they changed the music in-game? I know there are a handful of new arrangements but my understanding is that they're for the vinyl, I really wasn't fond of the new takes on them. MidnightDragon
If the plat image didn’t have the logo on it or even smaller, would’ve liked it as a milestone.

You want to make sure the needle is pointed between West and South, then repeatedly press X upon resuming. That would guarantee landing North. In the remaster, pausing is no longer possible. I made use of the PS Home button instead. Before it goes to your PS Home menu, it would give you a "quick glimpse" of where the needle is currently pointed, and you want it pointed between West and South. Then repeatedly press O (my copy is R3) upon resuming. Worked for me. 15 minutes ago, Alos88 said: Can anyone confirm if they changed the music in-game? It's slightly different from the original, but could listen to it for hours.
VerseEnComa
this roulette trophy is complete and utter bullshit. tried the "use the PS button to snapshot it and if it's between W and S, spam X" method and it's wildly inconsistent. tried some of the other suggestions here, but nothing seems to work—truly abysmal trophy. Alos88
If you hit South you lose, right? Just gotta keep hitting North and hoping for the best I guess... at least it's less stressful than FF9 jumprope.

If you're constantly using Fast Forward, No Encounters and all those quality of life functions, roughly 20+ hours as long as you know what you're doing. But that would be like joining a speed-eating competition. You won't really get to enjoy the food.
Dreamer5xH
For immortal compass i used a stopwatch on my phone: start it when you hear the casino guy click then stop at 3 seconds. It has a good chance to hit North. If its west thats good news cos when you hit continue keep holding x to immediately hit north. North is guaranteed after west in this way. Keep working on the 3 seconds mark to get used to it. I got the trophy real quick like in less than 30 mins . Hopefully this will help someone.

Thank you , use that strategie and got it in less than 10 min with 19000 point lol. I had to press on the 3 second as stated and when you got west just spam the shit out of it. Thank again friend

I did this on PS4, as soon as I saw the red line between East and South, when it got the PS home screen, kept hitting X on the main menu to go back into the game and select the roulette. I got this trophy after like 7 minutes. I tried it between the S and W, but it kept landing on E for me everytime. When I switched to S and E, got N every time. Not only does it need to be between S and W, but it should also be at the lower end of the quadrant. Refer to this image: https://ibb.co/xHw45L0 Otherwise, yeah it either lands on E or S. serafh_sf
One way to make platinum quicker is by - 1st playthrough: Pick anyone other than Nikki when going to Viper Manor, then choose not to save Kid in Guldove after the manor. - NG+: Pick Nikk when going to the Viper Manori, and then choose to save Kid and then recruit Razzly. This is because one of the ending require both Nikki and Razzly to be in the party, and with no ChronoCross yet during the window of that ending, you definitely need to do it this way on either 2nd or 3rd playthrough.

Thanks for this. Just to be sure: So there is absolutely no other alternative to this because of when these events you mention happen?? No Cross at that point so you can't save in NG for Continue+ later??

I just checked it. Indeed, Continue Plus does not work for this ending specifically because ChronoCross item didn't exist yet during the window the ending need to be achieved. It can still be used more efficiently to get the all character trophy though. Good thing if we rush the game from a fresh NG+, it's not too long to get to that ending. Start game, collect Komodo scale and change world, go to Termina for Nikki. Go to Viper Manor, and then Guldove to save Kid, finish Hydra Marshes to have Razzle in party. Then go for the ending. If we use R2 fast feature and skip any other optional stuff, this should be doable within 1.5-2 hours.
Drahcir7x2
I need to do an extra playthrough because I was really stupid. The Magical Dreamer's Ending requires Nikki & Razzly to be in the same playthrough at act 1. Chrono Cross, the Key Item used to get all your characters is attainable in late act 3. You need to do these paths on a NG+ to get that specific ending. Most Efficient Platinum Trophy Path. Playthrough 1 - Guile/Pierre + Don't Save Kid Playthrough 2 - Nikki + Save Kid + Get Magical Dreamers + Continue till you get Harle, beat TD while Harle is still in your party. Playthrough 3 - Get Endings, Remaining Character + Save Kid, Use Chrono Cross at Act 3 in Temporal Vortex. Edited April 14, 2022 by Drahcir7x2 Edit: Last playthrough needs to Save Kid to gain access to Razzly Level 7 Tech for Delta Force Trophy
