UPGRADING TO A HIGHER CARD THAN A 32GB SDHC 
So I've personally bought a
 
Samsung Pro Plus microSDXC 256GB
160mb/s Read Speed
120mb/s Write Speed

Sandisk Ultra PLUS 256GB microSDXC (ONLY at BestBuy)
130mb/s Read Speed

32GB SDHC is the MAX for the 3DS, but you can go higher than that using a SDXC Card.
For 64GB/128GB/256GB/400GB/512GB/1TB you need to use a Windows PC to download a GUI program (Google GUI formatter, I personally used the Softpedia one, but a lot of users used the Ridgecrop Consultants Ltd one) 
 
I formatted both cards using the program to FAT32 and the allocation unit size to 64kb (32kb does work, but it made my 3DS XL a little wacky..) I didn't see any problems when using 64kb
After you're done, eject the card and then take the card out of the card reader and put it into your 3DS.
 
I noticed the newer and higher Read/Write speed Samsung took longer on certain things, the screen would go black and take long a little bit. Did some research and a reddit user said that it was cause the card was an A2 and you needed a A1. Not going to go into why that is, but the A1 was faster. Maybe since the 3DS uses older technology the newer cards are less compatible?
 
But the 256GB A1 card worked perfectly, it doesn't matter if its Samsung or Sandisk. Just make sure it says A1 on the card.

Definitely picking up Radiant Historia when I get paid.  That's fantastic and like never on sale.

I bought it cause you said "never on sale" Better to buy it now and try it out later than buying it for full price or the over priced physical copy.

I've just been buying the MUST HAVE games only when they're on sale and luckily the games I want have been on sale.

Nice list, thank you for taking the time to format it very nicely. As for me, the games I'm eyeing and seeing if I end up getting them are Rhythm Heaven Megamix and Metroid: Samus Returns, the only problem is that they are a little expensive and would need to buy 2 Nintendo cards that would end up costing me a lot more lol.

I know this topic for the 3DS, and I don't mean to hijack it, but I'm not sure if they're worth a new topic of their own - there's actually a few new games that have released or are releasing on Wii U soon (for some reason). Since the Wii U eshop is closing the same time at the 3DS one, I thought they might be worth mentioning for any interested.

 

Reversi 32 released about a week ago now. PAL regions only it seems.

 

Pad of Time, a 2.5D platformer that kind of looks like it's trying to emulate Paper Mario, released back in April.

 

Silver Falls: White Inside Its Umbra is a strange horror game with balance board support releasing on the Wii U... At some point? Can't seem to find a release date for it.

 

I believe the 3DS has gotten a few new games as well, but I can't seem to find a ton of info. It's getting at least 2 new physical games, Fragrant Story and Andro Dunos 2.
