Popular Post TASK360
If you are anything like me you got 100% on the base game trophy list and haven't touched the game for ages. You saw they added 13 DLC packs about 4 months ago and you wanted to go back and re-earn your 100% again. That's exactly what I recently just did over the course of a few days and I thought I would share my experience so returning players would excel and wouldn't make any of the same mistakes I did. So first off if you had 100% on the game previously you most likely had lots of weapons and such at max level. That no longer matters since they reworked the upgrading system with it only having 2 tiers instead of the original 10. Now to upgrade weapons/gear the game uses resources called aetherhearts, these resources are highly valuable upgrade material which is usually acquired by maxing out one of your weapon ranks and prestiging it. Since you previously had 100% in this game with presumably maxed gear the game will provide you already with about 12 of these. DO NOT SPEND THEM RANDOMLY, those things are tough to get normally, I advise you to be smart with them. I didn't know about these things when I came back and wasted about 8 of them instantly. There are meta builds on the dauntless discord and reddit you can look to which will make your grinding a lot smoother than what I went through. Now onto specific trophies:The Darkest Timeline | Slay a Bloodshot Shrowd and What Doesn't Kill Me Makes Me Stronger | Do 100,000 Total Damage with the Revenant Omnicell To craft a Revenant Omnicell you need 2 aethercharged tail parts from the bloodshot shrowd. This behemoth is no joke, if you want to get the achievements quickly you'll have to find a very high leveled team mate who will help you not just kill the thing but specifically target the tail when it's aethercharged. The behemoth can be found on The Blazeworks, but can also be randomly encountered in escalations. I Can Do This All Day | Reach Level 25 in any Escalation This will probably be your last trophy since it's a pretty heavy grind of repeatedly playing the same escalation type until you max it out. I personally did shock since it was the first escalation added a long time ago and I started at level 15 instead of 0 like the rest. Although you may want to target the Blaze escalation or Umbral escalation since you'll have to complete them a few times each for the Forged In Flame and Who's Laughing Now? trophies King Of The Hill | Defeat Malkarion, Torgadoro, Thrax, Agarus, Urska, and The Chronovore This one is pretty straight forward since all of these behemoths have individual trophies for slaying them (except Urska). These behemoths are all found within the 10-50 escalations for each element except for the Chronovore. The Chronovore is found in the Paradox Breaks Hunting Grounds and you need to use 8 Chrono-stones (which you get by slaying behemoths in the Paradox Breaks) to start a kind of mini escalation in a temple to the right of where you spawn in paradox breaks. P.S. for each behemoth be aware of their specific trophy to be efficient and not have to fight them multiple times.Hero Of Ostia | Complete a Heroic Escalation Heroic escalations unlock when you have the none heroic version of the escalation at level 20, This means that hopefully like me the escalation you've been farming for I Can Do This All Day is also the escalation which is currently in rotation as the heroic one since it changes each week. I hoped this helped any returning players with getting a little more up to speed in returning to the game, and just a general rule of thumb everything is easily doable if you get someone who is a much higher level than you who knows what they're doing. It would go much faster too with behemoths melting if you run into the right person.
