Servers Offline With No Announcement (05/10/2022 Update: Servers Have Been Restored)

As it stands, this game is offline - making it impossible to platinum. The Japanese servers are also offline. 

EDIT: As of 05/10/2022, this game has had its online restored.

This issue was addressed this morning on the official twitter. At the moment yes, the server is offline, but an announcement has been made.

@CelestialRequiem - The servers are back online. Confirmed myself this morning and popped an online trophy. Also was confirmed on the AC discord. The official FROM player support twitter has not made an official tweet update yet but will edit post when they do.

Worthy sacrifice. Dark Souls II doesn't require any online connectivity for the platinum.

@GinjAJ I was going to mention it's affecting Dark Souls II but you beat me to it. Had some server issues last week with DS II but trying again a couple of times solved the login issue, but it has been 3 or 4 days since I was last able to connect into DS II servers. Thanks for bringing up those tweets, at least they're looking into it.

It takes a few weeks for most people to finish. I'd say about half of the list is online based including various co op trophies, territory related stuff which is online based, world bosses along with a few other trophies where you are required to hire another player. This will also hugely affect the single player however since the game was made for co op so the Rank S & sub quest trophies would also be affected. There are very few people in the world that could even Rank S the hardest missions solo which would basically be 10/10 difficulty when it comes to skill required. There are missions in this game that if you try to solo it would make Vanquish Challenge 6 seem like nothing so co op is very much needed. There are quite a few sub quests that are much more possible with another player where a few definitely require one. The last thing is that whilst it may still be possible the story can be very difficult to even get through solo without enough experience, which is needed in order to unlock hardcore mode. The hardcore mode is solo however so this would stay the same. It's a very challenging game regardless though. It's not the exact same style of game but it's more difficult than something like Vanquish with certain parts more overwhelming & intense than Challenge 6 itself.

Yeah it was extremely useful in getting through quite a lot of the game.

Both ranked and quickplay work. Just go in "offline mode" and start MP anyway

Me and @bayabug just played one custom match and one ranked online match (and got the trophy!) so I assume the server is not really down. Also the leaderbord is still working. Now I want to see if campaign coop is doable but I cannot see the invite option. I played only 2 campaign missions. Maybe coop is available later on @Deadly_Ha_Ha
