Fastest way to get 30 platinum medals?

I am almost done with leveling to 100 and noticed that I still miss nearly 25 platinum medals for the other trophy.

 

What is a fast way to get 30 medals? Play the heists? I avoided those so far.

Do not confuse platinum medals with platinum awards, there are trophies for both. Since you said "30", you are probably referring to the awards.

 

You can see all available awards in the pause menu -> statistics -> awards. "Simply" earn 30 platinum awards and the trophy is yours. You can choose whichever awards seem to be the easiest to obtain.

 

Although playing heists is not required at all to obtain 30 awards, some of the easiest awards can be obtained by simply playing and completing heists.

If you are going for Heist and Doomsday Heist, you’re going to get quite a lot of the awards naturally.

Another good way to get a big chunk of awards is ‘The diamond casino and resort’ section, if you have a friend with a penthouse or own one yourself you can get about 9 awards in the space of a couple hours just from completing the missions.

 

make sure you check the awards under stats in the pause menu to see which ones you need and just start with whatever seems relatively easy and quick to do for you.

Just hit 30 awards last night but the trophy didn't pop. I definitely counted 30 but the stats only said I unlocked 28. It appears some don't register even though you complete the challenge.

 

I eventually got the trophy by completing challenges that can be done in free mode.

 

My 30th was the one for completing 25 different races so I made sure that next 2 that I did was not tied to an event or job. The last 2 I did were the ones for getting 50 melee kills and winning 25 impromptu races and the trophy popped right away.

 

So if anyone has completed 30 awards but the trophy didn't pop, keep doing the ones in free mode and it should pop. This is similar to people not getting the trophies for reaching level 25, 50 and 100 because they didnt level up in free mode.
