Is there any way for EU and NA players to play with each other?

 When I'm booting up the game, on the server list there's always only one, and in my case, it's a PvE European server, with no visible way to get into any other server. Does that mean that the game is completely region-locked and I can't play with people in NA?

I think that’s the case. If I recall correctly, the only option available to me was a PvE North American server (I live in the US).

I think you are locked to the region your PSN account is located in, which means I can only play with EU folks.

According to the guide, you can download the game from NA alt and play it on your EU account.

Wouldn't I lose the access to my EU character though?

I would think so. Your character(s) are usually tied to a server in MMOs. Unless this one offers a sever transfer option I’m unaware of.
