Popular Post Abby_TheLastofUs
Curse of the Dead Gods (PS4) - 79 Metacritic Score | 7.6 User Score Tribes of Midgard (PS5 | PS4) - 71 Metacritic Score | 6.8 User Score FIFA 22 (PS5 | PS4) - 78 Metacritic Score | 2.6 User Score Curse of the Dead Gods is a roguelike action dungeon crawler with fast paced combat with a stamina mechanic. You play as an explorer that must collect relics relics and weapons in order to make their way through the dungeons. When you die, you lose everything except for some permeant upgrades that you may have unlocked. Your character is also inflicted with a curse every time you enter a new room, which will last the entire run. The only way to remove a curse mid-run is as a reward for defeating a boss. It's considered a pretty good roguelike that provides a good challenge. It was well received by critics and users, with most criticism aimed at being too derivate of other roguelikes, but despite that it still did enough be a solid entry in the roguelike genre. Tribes of Midgard is an action role-playing survival game that takes inspiration from Don't Starve and Diablo, which you can play solo or co-op. You play as a Viking hero that must protect the seed of Yggdrasil, which is done by collecting resources during the day in preparation for enemies that will attack at night. The story mode is short, as you only have a few hours to meet your goal but it's not the kind of game where you're expected to succeed on your first try. Critical and user reception was decent, but the consensus was that the only really shines when you're playing with others as the solo experience feels lackluster. FIFA 22 is the latest entry in EA's long-running football franchise. It's more of the same, with a few small improvements. The series is still full of microtransactions, but if you're a fan of prior FIFA games, then you'll probably like the latest entry. Critical reception was mostly positive, as many felt that despite how similar the game was to previous entries, it was still a marginal improvement, with praise going to the new Hypermotion engine that made FIFA 22 the most realistic FIFA game to date. User reception was extremely negative as is the norm for FIFA games, with many citing the game launching in a buggy state and how little has changed from previous FIFA games. Trophy Hunting Curse of the Dead Gods does not currently have a trophy guide but Neroseeker does have a thorough achievement guide you can use. There's no difficulty rating to be found, but the game is considered to be quite challenging that getting the platinum is a grind. This is mainly due to trophies like Memoirs which requires you kill the same enemy several times in order to record them in your Bestiary and meet certain requirements when defeating bosses (like getting hit less than ten times), and Deliverance which is unlocked by completing exploration mode in normal difficulty and hard difficulty. If you're looking for a frustratingly difficult but satisfyingly challenging platinum, this is a game you'll be interested in. Tribes of Midgard does have a guide on PSNProfiles written by TemperedSloth. It's got a difficulty rating of 3/10 but the platinum is expected to take 50 hours. Nothing is missable, but there is only one multiplayer trophy for reviving an ally player which should come naturally if you spend any time playing co-op. Although everything else can be done solo, an online connection is still required for getting the other trophies. As you can tell from the platinum time provided by the guide, you're in for a quite a grind. Mathieumatic's guide for FIFA 22 gives it a difficulty rating of 3/10, with the platinum taking up to 65 hours. The game has several online co-op trophies, along with some grindy trophies. The trophies for gaining a winstreak in FUT Division Rivals, and reaching milestone 1 in a FUT Division Rivals Season are reportedly buggy, so that's something you'll have to look out for. There's also a local co-op trophy that you'll need a second controller for. From what I can tell, it's still one of the easiest FIFA platinums. Sailar91
The leaker is always @Dealabs, so I think we can stay assured that these are gonna be the games for May FIFA 22 (Ps4-Ps5) Curse of the Dead Gods (Ps4) [No Trophy Guide] Tribes of Midgard (Ps4-Ps5) FIFA 22 heralds the next generation of virtual football, and while it doesn’t reinvent the ball, the attacking and defending gameplay gains moment-to-moment fluidity. Goalkeeping blunders and visual inconsistencies aside, this year’s FIFA is still one of the most nuanced and enjoyable multiplayer sports games on the market, and new additions across Career Mode and Volta Football have made FIFA’s major modes more fun to play. Microtransactions still loom large, but small iterative changes and the horsepower of new-gen consoles combine to make FIFA 22 feel like a worthwhile upgrade without needing anything revolutionary or terribly exciting from EA’s side. Metacritic: 78 User Score: 2.8 ========== Even without the curses themselves, Curse of the Dead Gods would be a standout roguelite with excellent combat, a smart structure that eases you into its difficulty, and a great variety of enemies, traps, and bosses across its three distinct temples. That strong foundation is only made better by the fun randomization curses bring to each run, on top of the added strategic element that comes with having to balance the need to gear up quickly with the fear of taking on more corruption than you can handle. Its between-run progression systems didn’t do much to hook me compared to the simple drive to best its hardest challenges, but even without that carrot on a stick, Curse of the Dead Gods is a blessing in disguise. Metacritic: 79 User Score: 7.6 ========== When you're playing with your whole clan, Tribes of Midgard is an exciting, hectic, co-op rush to hold off enemies and the elements – It's just a bit too unforgiving if you want to go it alone. Slaying a mighty jotun and racing against the coming of Ragnarok makes for plenty of Norse-flavored fun, but I longed for the chance to explore and interact with its world and systems with less constant upkeep, and at my own pace. Jelly Soup
Curse of the Dead Gods - I see this on Steam all the time. People tell me it's good, but seems like another Diablo-clone at first glance. Add it to my 'eventually try' list. Tribes of Midgard - Don't know this one. Looks like another Diablo-clone with some base building mixed in. Like the OST samples in the trailer. Also going to my 'eventually try' list, maybe a spot higher than Curse of the Dead Gods. FIFA 22 - Sports game. That's my only comment. Couple interesting things and the usual sports game tat. Not terrible month.

Popular Post DrBloodmoney
For anyone unsure, note - this game is great. One of the best rogue-likes I've played - ended up ranking it even slightly above Hades, which probably tells any Rogue-like fan all they need to know about how much I liked it ? If anyone who wants to know more about it, I wrote a review HERE Between Slay the Spire, Invisible Inc, Rogue Legacy, and now Curse of the Dead Gods, it's pretty amazing how many of the best rogue-likes on playstation have been part of PS+ over the years! Man, do you just play a lot of Diablo, or not a lot of things that aren't Diablo? Curse of the Dead Gods is a roguelike, so unlikely to be anything like Diablo. Tribes of Midgard is basically Don't Starve Together but with vaguely better combat. So also nothing like Diablo. Diablo clones aren't even that popular these days. You can't just go around assuming every top down game that doesn't have guns is a Diablo clone, lol.

PraiseTheFluppi
I was about to buy Curse of the Dead Gods a week ago, but decided to wait because of my backlog - now I'm glad I didn't buy it ? Tribes of Midgard looks interesting - top down game, norse mythology, comedy elements; all the good things! Will add that to my neverending backlog as well ? Fifa can just go away.

bmg_ps
Really doubt if FIFA really is one. It has never been and is always selling well (still top10 in many countries at least) so I think it is strange. I would like that since I like FIFA but have not bother this year (for the first time) to buy it. Would be great if true for me. But somehow doubt it. Unless this might be a new effort from Sony until june to appeal to a wider audience regarding PS+. The others I am not familiar with, can't comment. Yea it’s pretty strange to see FIFA on this list, but I read that this year it didn’t sell like all the other years, maybe it’s a move by Sony to make more people subscribe? Popular Post You
Best thing to do is expect total shit each month. That way each month when you see what's coming up, you won't feel disappointed. I get regularly updates on my phone reminding that I haven't grabbed all the latest games yet. Sony can't even give them away, even if they're free. Scrolling down the download list on PS3 and Vita systems is such a pain, I'd honestly rather nothing, than games I'll never play.
