Caesar Clown
I've played the.. uh.. I guess the word would be "lower budget" version of this on the Switch (Disney Magical World 2), I'll probably give this one a try. It certainly looks a lot better.
Helyx
Playstation Home 2 is looking pretty bad. Also, why's Ursula got a bong? Edited April 28, 2022 by Helyx

Dangisuckatgamin
I'm going to guess the micros will be super heavy in this, and way overpriced. But I'll give it a shot if it has trophies.. who knows if it will. Can't imagine there's really that much to do lol.

TimeLordCrow13y
Seeing Gameloft’s name on this makes me...not exactly encouraged. Their FTP mobile games are infested with micro-transactions and very hard to block video ads. This could easily be a heavily monitized nightmare. Although i I take a somewhat dim view of Disney these days, they were a pretty large part of my childhood (along with Mario and Spyro) so...hopefully this won’t be a disaster? But I’m not holding my breath until the game’s released. Edited April 28, 2022 by TimeLordCrow13y

The company trashed star wars churning out movie after movie for cash which pretty much ruined it. Now we can't refer to people as boys and girls or ladies and gentleman. I say i have a dim view too. To say the least.

To say the least. Oh my, I believe I have a dim view of Disney for an entirely different reason. I have no issue with them being more inclusive. In fact, I don’t think they’re nearly inclusive enough, and have never been into Star Wars that much (haven’t even seen the last movie in the latest trilogy, though I thought the first two were fine-I prefer Star Trek). Plus, I’ve been treated unfairly by representatives of the company itself on multiple occasions. I could get into my issues with Disney more, but I prefer to avoid talking about personal stuff or politics too much on the internet, tends to get messy.

While I typically consider Disney far too conservative for my liking, and their 'representation' too trivial to matter, it brings me a mote of pleasure to know it's at least enough to piss you lot off.

TakemetoNarnia4
Once again, just like in KH there is not the Treasure Planet world.... Somehow for Disney this movie never existed. I'm really disappointed .
Tsundokuist
As someone who grew up with 16-bit Castle of Illusion, Mickey Mania and Aladdin and loved the recent (-ish) “The Disney Afternoon Collection” I’m constantly hoping for Disney to do new stuff with their IPs but then disappointed to see their continued focus on Star Wars games (no thanks), the bloated mess that the Kingdom Hearts series is and mashed up “games as service” stuff like this. I’d love to see a pure 2D platformer based on something like the aesthetics of the newer Mickey Mouse animated series’ (surely they could easily commission an established indie like DotEmu - see Streets of Rage 4, TMNT Shredder’s Revenge - who would be willing to take on a Mega Man clone that looks like this)… Edited April 29, 2022 by Tsundokuist
goodSuM
So weird how Disney is licensing 2 free-to-play console games around the same time. And, yet again, only using the same rehashed characters and properties. How can you have a game themed around this and not include the Br'ers, or at least Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah? How can you have yet another Disney racer and not include Mr. Toad? I love Disney, but I'll stick with the mobile apps that reach a broader audience. PortaLuna
Looks grindy, but I'm def chasing it. It's very likely to have auto-granting both ways since the devs revealed the info is stored on servers. The game has cross-progression and cross-buy for PSN only, the other platforms do have cross-progression.
