Tribes of Midgard is an action role-playing survival game played from a top-down view. In addition to solo play, players can also form a tribe of 10 players and play cooperatively.

 

I'm going to answer the title straight away! you should not platinum this game unless you're willing to time sync a good 100hours into it! The reason why this game is on psn plus is mainly because the play-base is dead..... This should already answer your question about the overall experience of this game (Very tedious and repetitive after the first 20+hours). Is this game fun from a casual gaming experience absolutely but if you're reading this forum page you're most likely a trophy hunter! , The trophies are a grind fest with no double xp.

 

Difficulty:4/10

Time to play (co-op): 60 hours with a good group of 5 players

Time to play (Solo): 100+ hours

They have recently announced that Double xp is now in the game! which would take at least 10-20hours off the overall playtime  ?

I think it could be a permanent thing since the player base is beyond dead

I certainly hope so. If most of the game's content is just grinding for the fuck of completion, then they need to fix the XP gains permanently.
