A little problem with my exp when leveling

Hello!

 

I've been noticing that my experience after each game is being added normally, but then in the main menu I'm a few levels behind from the level displayed in the results screen. Just like this:

As you can see, after the game I leveled to level 42 (the game even noticed me after each level gained); however, after that and back to the main menu, you can see in the second image that I'm level 39, not 42. Am I not reading it right and there are two different experience bars?

Did it right itself? I have no clue what happened there, though my hopes are for a delay on the servers which in that case should have corrected itself by now.

I didn't, in fact it has been happening for a while, as I noticed it several levels ago. 

After that last game, I did another with other people in which we lost after the second day, so I got almost no exp. After that, I did another run in saga mode, and this happened:

The first image is before getting the experience, as you can see I started at level 42 (which was not the level displayed in the main menu, but it was the level displayed in the results screen for the previous game, as you can see in my last post). After that I gained a few levels, got to level 50 (and got the reward as you can see in the images). However the game told me I have reached level 45 as I got to level 50, as shown in the image, it doesn't make sense.... And after all that, I am level 47.

 

I guess what happens is as you say something sever related... btw I didn't get the trophy for level 50 so I guess I am actually level 47 and not level 50. I'll update this post if I get to level 50 in my next run!

I noticed that the level icons in the level up screen aren't accurate at all for some reason, but the xp bar is. The level number seen in the main menu is genuinely accurate. I would be level say 25, and the level up screen would have 26 on the left, I'd get 22k xp (1 levels worth), it would now show 27 on the left and 28 on the right. In the main menu, it would show I'm level 26 and working to 27.

 

I think for some ungodly reason it shows the level you're working towards on the left of the level screen, which throws it all into disarray. 

 

Just take consolation in the fact that you aren't being screwed on leveling, unless the level in the main menu is rising the amount it should be. I had this throughout the entirety of my time working to level 50, but I never had to play more than was actually needed.

I can confirm this. Your main menu page's lvl os correct. The levei up screen ia not.

Ah, thanks. That clears up some mental error I experienced when parsing the player level at the end of a play through vs the level shown in the main menu. Several times I thought I was level x when the main menu and level rewards progression showed me one level lower.

At least the xp is actually counted and the trophy is not in any danger, that helps :).

Confirming what has already be explained about this issue.

I just finished my 100 day survival run (which was incredibly easy after my town was set up, just keep escorting the jotuns so you'll delay them ..). Anyway, I got 233k xp from it and the level up bar skipped levels, it went from 34 to 36, from 37 to 39, etc. It made it all the way to level 50 even though I clearly gained 10 levels here (22k/level), not 18. I was level 32 when I started, so I'm level 42 now, as it should be. But that level up bar from getting xp is glitchy with what it shows. The xp itself is properly added to my account, fortunately. This is just a visual issue. Though it does make you believe to be a certain level when you're not ....
