Popular Post Smashero
Straight to the point: my suggestion is that when User is getting flagged, pressed the "Dispute" button and the "XXXX's dispute" topic is created with theirs ID and flagged game(s) title(s) (I am guessing that's the drill?) also the reason of the flag shall be implemented / imprinted automatically as well, so the dispute can "start" immediately without asking "please, state the flag reason blablabla" which is the most common 1st comment in new disputes. What do you think? EDIT: Another thought: Sometimes the disputed game on XXXX's list has multiple stacks and there is almost always a question "Which version is flagged?". Maybe in such cases the proper stack shall be also mentioned or simply direct link to the XXXX's disputed game? EDIT 2: Another one - IMHO after creating a dispute, OP shall receive a "popup" with link to the forum to be aware how it works and where it is located. Again, there is like 4-5 disputes opened by one OP who never visited the forum. Edited June 19, 2022 by Smashero Added
Moridin83
I think that's a phenomenal idea. I browse the dispute pages pretty regularly, and I'd say that would cut at least 30-40% of unnecessary replies. I know CRT sees the reason anyway, but it would make the public side of the dispute much less messy.

What do you think? Yeah, that's how the logic in the coding was supposed to work when Disputes first rolled out. Would be nice if it were fixed.
amurnin100
I agree, this should of been implemented at the foundation of the flagging / dispute section of the website..

I bet people would do stuff for free, i know i would if i knew what i was doing, i would get rid of the cheaters that plague the leaderboards. This site needs a overhaul imo. I just hope it doesn't end up like playstationtrophies.org. I mean the site is great to say just 1 person maintains it, built it etc. It's actually amazing. But just imagine how much better it would be with some help. Forums are still slow, don't think they are ever going to be fixed, also would love a Dark Mode option, unless it has one and i just can't find it?
HoorayForTyler
That’s an excellent idea, Smashero. Too many disputes are started without any background info given (sometimes on purpose by the disputer). This would stop any future disputes from needing to be responded to with “can you please state the reason why you were flagged?” You see it way too often honestly, almost under every single dispute. If the mods/CRT do in fact have an open line of communication with Sly, you would think some of the constructive criticism wouldn’t fall on deaf ears. I’m hoping he wants to improve the site in some aspects. The site is great, but so many new things can be implemented…requirement of flag reasoning in disputes, rarity leaderboard, etc. None of it will get done most likely, but constructive criticism and great ideas that could benefit the site shouldn’t be met with “it’s Sly's site, he can do whatever he wants” by moderators. As true as that is, progress should always be welcomed and considered. I hope he at least cares about his website enough to improve upon it, not keep it stagnant.
