Glad to help out :)

As you have a 100% account, I think I should say more about Dissidia because let's face it: I really like the game, but it's not for everyone and if it's not for you, you shouldn't lose your 100% because of this game and you also shouldn't have to grind anywhere from 70 to 100+ hours in a game you don't like.

So here's how you test the free version without unlocking trophies for a while:

  1. Do not play Gauntlet Mode at first. If you play it, you can unlock a trophy in around 10 minutes, then you have to do the rest. Guides recommend this to level up your characters, but then it's on your account and you have to do it. Enemies start at the same level you do for the most part, so it's perfectly fine to just start at level 1. Also, you only get new skills that are not always better than what your characters have at level 1. There are no stat upgrades for leveling your characters.
  2. Start with the online trophies. You have to do 10 online wins for your first online trophy, so 9 ranked matches to make up your mind. The reason is this trophy: https://psnprofiles.com/trophy/8474-dissidia-final-fantasy-nt-free-edition/5-sparking-the-flame
  3. You can test it more if you just don't win in online mode (<- not recommended) or don't play ranked matches. So don't play ranked matches if you need to test more afterwards.
  4. If you decide to get it to 100%, note that the game doesn't tell you your progress towards most trophies. The trophies you don't need to track manually are wins in ranked battles, titles, and EX abilities/summons as the last one comes naturally. Everything else you need to write down if you want to know your progress. But there's really only one that you should write down, that's https://psnprofiles.com/trophy/8474-dissidia-final-fantasy-nt-free-edition/10-in-the-nick-of-time. Y'shtola is your best friend for this trophy. Ace is great as well, so is Emperor, but Y'shtola and Ace did most of it for me. Everything else just unlocks somewhere along the way while you play the game.

Feel free to ping me if you have any questions about it once you play it.

Very helpful and thoughtful, mate. Thank you once again. Although I'm not 100% sure, I think it's possible to create a new PSN account, and even if I get any trophies it will only show in the secondary profile that I can delete later (but again, I'm not sure, I'd have to research before trying that out).

True, but Boni_Neto doesn't have any hidden trophies and might not want any. So I figured I should explain it first.

That's true, no hidden trophies for me :).

Don't sell any equipment unless you're sure you have documented it. But I'd just stay away from selling them and just sell other items instead as you won't get too much from gil most equipment.

@Rebourne07 Finished the free version of Dissidia NT. That's also silver tier and I'm now the second fastest achiever on PSNP for this game.

I kinda preferred the online trophies. Sure, I had to wait forever to get a match, but at least I got to fight. The offline grind in Gauntlet Mode was just me attacking the enemy crystal and ignoring everything else, that wasn't exactly the most interesting thing to do. My completion time is exactly 80 hours. I'm glad I didn't need the 150 hours listed in the starting post.

My favorite fight is this one:

Spoiler

Maybe I will say more about it later, but for now I'm just glad it's over.

What's next: I will transfer my progress to the paid version of Dissidia NT and slowly work on the online trophies with a focus on the ones that require only one successful attempt because of the Free Edition. But I won't try to get it as fast as I can and take some time to play other games and catch up on some other things that I neglected for Dissidia.

Congratz! You just did one of the most troublesome in the list! It shouldn't take much time to finish the paid version now.

Btw you can use the website checklist so you don't have to worry about forgetting a game: https://oyazmat.github.io/ff-checklist/

Thank you. I got the misc online trophies already and now only need A++ for all characters except the season pass characters.

That looks good. I tested it and it saves my progress to local storage, so no need to input the completed games multiple times when I reload the page. So I'll probably use it for my next update.

@SwicySauce Awesome man you're in Gold tier with almost every badge! I see you're missing Crystal Defenders. I'd recommend buying it now so that you have it just in case you wanna do it someday. If the PS3 store ever goes down it'll be unpurchaseable forever.

Dissidia NT: So I did some testing and it seems that Core Battles in Gauntlet Mode are the best way of leveling my player level to get treasures. Is that correct? Still need around 160 treasures, would hate to waste my time when there's a more efficient way of doing this. Everything else worth mentioning is already complete, just need the treasures and some misc Gauntlet Mode clears that will come naturally.

Yes it should be the fastest. Just pick a ranged char (Yshtola is usually the best) and go for the crystal directly, stay at max range so you won't get targeted much

I'm using Y'shtola and two others with Provoke so that if the enemies stand near their crystal all the time, they can lure them away after a while. It kind of works, sometimes my allies just want to fight near the enemy crystal and ruin it as that brings everyone near the crystal and makes it invulnerable (aka top 10 most tragic anime betrayals of 2023 or something, IDK), but it's good for the most part.
