Well, you have a few options, but it depends on many things: Currently XIV and Endwalker are 50% off, I don't think you will find a better deal until next expansion pre-order opens up (70~75%~ maybe then). You won't be able to enjoy Shadowbringers and Endwalker content until you reach them respectively in MSQ, which takes a long time, a very very long time if you follow the MSQ story, so maybe by then, depending on your play time, next expansion might be out already... I do recommend you to follow the story, at least after A Realm Reborn (I didn't until I reached Shadowbringers) it's a great one (If you are into that) Just so you know there are some MSQ skip items you can buy in the FFXIV store: https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/tales_of_adventure/), but why waste more real money? Unless you want to get those trophies and get done with it. I don't think there is anything worth it in the Collector's edition (some mounts and minions which won't affects your game play in any way). As for story, you might find ARR a little slow, just hold on until you reach Heavensward. I was aware that one character can learn all jobs, but not about the EXP boost. Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. Thank you. It will still be some time, mid to late January to the very least, before I can start XIV. Only Dissidia might be discontinued any time I would take care of XIII trilogy in PS3 too even if they are offline, no idea if their trophy support will stay, and, if they get a remaster, if the trophy list will be the same. PS3 is not a problem, I already have all PS3 titles at 100%/platinum. Adventures of Mana is also already done. Maybe I'll prioritize Dissidia, then. No longer having the chance to complete this would lower my motivation. That doesn't mean I'll ever get to that point, but I still want to be able do to it in theory. There's been no server closure announcements, but if they were to shut off the servers tomorrow it wouldn't surprise me. Is that accurate? Yup possible, if I remember well the most grinding trophy is the win 300 online matches which is in both the free and paid version, and that takes a very long time. I would still recommend you to play the free version then transfer save to the paid version (you can't transfer from paid to free) so you can unlock all trophies again in paid by doing just one requirement again (you still have to grind for trophies that are in paid but not in free) On the other matter, I bought a ps3 for 4 games, but am not ready neither to buy a PS Vita or PS VR for just one game... wish if someone could lend them to me... 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sounds good, so free first, then move on to paid, which I already own. That sounds like what I did with the Wii. And Wii U. And the Switch Lite. And the regular Switch. I don't want to do that again. Well the paid is definitely not doable in that short of time. It's at least a 100 hours with the online exploit. Was just thinking about Free with the exploit which sounded correct... but I really don't remember how much it took me. In any case I am pretty sure you can do it @viech54 ! This can be a lengthy livestream or a Let's Play or something, or maybe some music or an audio book, so it's not that bad. So, yeah, unless I end up hating Dissidia, I'll get it done at some point next year. I hope I won't hate it. The first 2 Dissidia games were great, I played them a lot.
