One dident mean to sound rude @DaivRules but surely business wise , if updates are needed , there can be those who can implement it once approved by Sly rather than waiting for him to implement the change himself

And as a moderator, why not use your position to actually try to relay any of these suggestions to Sly, or do you guys not have an open line of communication with him? I know CRT does. Instead of responding to people with:

Why not actually let people know whether or not there’s a possibility of progressive change on the website. You don’t help anyone with your comments.

If Sly is not interested in updating PSNProfiles, why not have it replaced with someone who is passionate about evolving this website? I love this website and everything (especially tracking trophy stats is the best out of any others imo), but it would be nice if we could get some more updates on PSNProfiles (I hope I didn't get sidetracked from the actual topic here). I just came here to drop a suggestion for future of this website fyi 🤔

If Sly created this for the community, it should constantly change / update on behalf of the community wether it’s himself or another developer.

 

Whilst I respect this is his website and he’s the owner, it was not built for him for personal use but for a wider fan base.

 

I mean one example is you can’t flag PS5 games a year after the console was released.

 

If it stagnates and refuses to evolve, then it dies…. and we don’t want that.

In the same way we don't have to be happy about the website, the owner doesn't need to actually listen to us.

A team dedicated to improving the website would be a great idea imo, but the owner is the owner. He can technically do what he wants with it.

If he doesent listen to his users / members , is he really contributing to the community the website is built for 🤔

 

End of the day from experience, Sly will do what’s best for him, his website , his rules but it can’t be an excuse when people make credible suggestions to improve the website.

He makes money off the website without putting any effort into it so from his perspective he's all good and he does not owe us anything. Maybe if there is competition one day he will do something.

Everytime I see a thread like this I wonder if the OP ever thought about this single question.

PSNProfiles currently has in monopoly in trophy tracking due to the competitors just not been on the same level by far.

If there was a competitor which does everything better then PSNProfiles and that results in a loss of 'customers' here. Then Sly needs to get up his ass and do something about it.

But since nobody (including me ) wants to build a site that is better then PSNP, nothing will seemingly happen.

However, one can only hope Sly finds the passion back to update/fix things with it been:

 

A. Been basic site functionality fixes that seems to be still in the void for a long time:

This is all the truth and why monopoly is bad for costumers, for people wanting Sony, MS or any other brand to have the monopoly of games, this is what happens in the end... No attention to the user, no improvements, mediocre games, etc... Competition is the best outcome for costumers because each company, site or whatever wants to have your attention/money/clicks, so they improve and try to be appealing to you... If that doesnt exist... Well, you spend years waiting for a leaderboard to be implemented or for a trophy list to be changed...
