Popular Post Abby_TheLastofUs
It seems pretty easy for a fighting game(s) list, but it will be really grindy because of this trophy. Darkstalkers - 12 characters Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge - 14 characters Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire - 15 characters Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalkers' Revenge - 14 characters Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of Vampire - 15 characters Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo - 11 characters Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix - 12 characters Cyberbots: Full Metal Madness - 6 characters Red Earth - 4 characters Hyper Street Fighter II - 16 characters That's a rough count and I might be off by a couple of characters but you're still looking at well over 100 arcade runs to get the trophy. I think for average player, it'll take something like 80 hours to platinum. BUT I just had a thought. There may be a way to cut down on time significantly. 1. Play a game until you get to the fight just before the final boss and create a save state 2. Defeat the the fighter, then the boss in the next match, watch the ending/credits 3. Load up your save state and then lose to the fight 4. Select continue and choose a different character 5. Defeat the boss with the new character, watch the ending credits 6. Keep repeating steps 2 to 5 until you've gone through every character If this works, the time required for the platinum goes down from around 80 hours to like 20 hours, maybe even less. It's a matter of whether loading up a save state undoes a successful arcade run. According to @Infected Elite, this method does not work for Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix, and as pointed out by @DeadBird101, it doesn't work for Red Earth either as you start at the beginning of the game every time you change characters. The quickest way to see if this method work is to use it while going for the Destinies Intertwined trophy. Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness has just 6 characters, so you can try using this method when going for the all character endings trophy and if it unlocks even after you revert to a previous save state to lose and then switch characters, that should mean Collection Completionist is achievable with this method. The first platinum achiever @InternetNomad has provided more advice. 1. Don't lose to the final boss, as it'll restart your arcade run 2. Change the round settings to 1 round and lower the time limit as much as you can Every other trophy should come naturally while going for Collection Completionist. Difficultly will be manageable even if you're not adept at fighting games, as the collection allows the use of save states. However, you're only allowed one save state across all games. The main exception I see is To Each Their Own Path. Getting every ending is easy (with save states), but tedious. Red Earth info Red Earth has multiple endings for each character. One of Leo's endings will also net you Unbeatable Warrior, if you haven't gotten it already by this point. Switching characters will send you back to the start of the game, keep that in mind. Each character has an ending for using at least 20 continues before beating the game, and it appears it can be done by using 20 continues with one character, switching to another character, playing their path and beating the final boss. The continue count carries over across all characters till you start a new game. Tip provided by @Infected Elite. So when going for the 20+ continues endings, you can play as one character up until the final boss, create a save state and then defeat the boss. After watching the ending credits and returning to the title screen, load up the save, lose and switch to another character. You'll have to start back at the beginning but you won't have to lose another 20 times with your new character. Leo's endings Beat the game without using a single continue and not using a dismembering special attack to finish the off Blade or Scion. Beat the game having used 1 continue but less than 20, and do not finish off Blade/Scion with a a dismembering special attack. Beat the game after having used 1 continue but less than 20 and finish off Blade/Scion with a dismembering special attack. Beat the game after using more than 20 continues. Use a dismembering special attack against Blade/Scion, just to be safe. @DeadBird101 has provided further info. The instructions provided above should also apply when fighting the character Blade, who you face before the final boss. In fact, using dismembering attacks might only affect the ending if used to finish off Blade and might not even matter against the final boss but just to be safe, until there's confirmation otherwise I would keep them in mind when fighting the final boss too. Blade is the 7th fighter you will face off against as Leo, so make you sure get everything needed for the ending you want (continue count) before that battle. Dismemberment attacks are special moves that might slice your opponent in two if they are used to defeat your opponent. Mars Slash - Forward, Down, Down Forward + Kick (most likely to dismember your opponent) Cronos Rush - Down, Down Forward, Forward + Punch Achilles Rush (unlocked at LV 8) - Down, Down Forward, Forward + Kick If these seem off to you and aren't working, you can check the in-game move list for the proper commands. Kenji's/Mukuro's endings Beat the game using less than 20 continues and choose to trust the ninja report. Beat the game using less than 20 continues and choose not to trust the ninja report. Beat the game after using more than 20 continues. Tessa's/Tabasa's endings Beat the game using less than 20 continues and choose the seal option. Beat the game using less than 20 continues and choose the take home option. Beat the game using more than 20 continues. Mai Ling's/Tao's endings Beat the game using between 5 and 19 continues. Beat the game using 4 continues or less. Beat the game using more than 20 continues Shooting Star For the Shooting Star trophy, hold the up direction on the d-pad and press the medium punch button. Then, using the newly summoned Mobi-chan use the medium punch button to fire at the credits. As the trophy description says, you have to shoot down at least 50%. Other games info Around the World The Around the World trophy can be a little tricky. What you need to do is corner your opponent at the edge without having made them dizzy at any point and not doing too much damage to them that they'll be knocked with your next account. Then, when your opponent attacks, you need to counter with your backwards special attack at once. If done correctly, your opponent will be shown circling the Earth and then appearing in front of you This video does a better job of demonstrating how to get the trophy. Puppet Master The Puppet Master trophy requires you to play as Marionette in Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalker's Revenge (which would also have to be done for the Collection Completionist trophy). Marionette is like a mirror mode where you become each character you're facing off against. I believe the way to unlock her is to go to random character option, press the start button 7 times and then any attack button. Hold it Right There! For the Hold it Right There! trophy, when playing Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire, finish off at least your first 3 of 5 opponents with EX moves. You'll know you've met the requirements when "Here Comes a New Challenger" pops up before your 5th fight. Master of the Fist The Master of the Fist trophy requires you to fight Akuma in Hyper Street Fighter II: Anniversary Edition. In order to to fight Akuma, you must reach M. Bison without losing a single round and have at least 4 perfect wins. Alternate reports on fighting Akuma from @Snake2410 and @syai0306. In Hyper Street Fighter 2 you don't need any perfect victories to be able to fight Akuma. You just need to win every round. Not sure if that had been mentioned, I only noticed the post about getting so many perfect victories and super combo victories for him to appear. All you have to do is interrupt and beat the sub 2P until you achieve 1.2 million points or 11 wins in a row and then reach Sagat. No need to think about anything else to meet Akuma. Hidden/Secret/Alternate characters If you've beaten every game with every character and Collection Completionist didn't unlock, it might be because the trophy also requires you beat the games with the alternate characters. This also means you have to beat Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness with every robot type. Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire - Highlight Jon Talbain, then hold down the start button and press every punch button at the same time to play as Alternate Jon Talbain. Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalkers' Revenge - The Puppet Master section tells you how to play as Marionette. Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalkers' Revenge - Highlight Bishamon, then press any attack button while holding down the start button to play as Oboro Bishamon. Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of Vampire - To play as Marionette in mirror mode, highlight the random character option, press the start button 7 times and then any attack button. Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of Vampire - To play as Shadow, highlight the random character option, press the start button 5 times followed by any attack button. Shadow mimics the character you last defeated. Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of Vampire - Highlight Bishamon, then press any attack button while holding down the start button to play as Oboro Bishamon. Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo - Highlight Ryu on Player One's side and hold down the start button. While holding down the start button, press down, left, down, left, down , left, down, and left. Then, while still holding down the star button and pressing left on the d-pad, press any attack button to play as Akuma. Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo - As Player One, highlight Morrigan and hold down the start button. Then press down on the d-pad 13 times and then any attack button to play as Dan. Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo - As Player One, highlight Morrigan and hold down the start button. Then press down on the d-pad 13 times. Wait till the timer reaches 10 seconds left and then press any attack button to play as Devilot. Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix - Highlight Ryu and press left on the d-pad to reveal Akuma. Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix - Highlight Ken and press right on the d-pad to reveal Dan. Hyper Street Fighter II: Anniversary Edition - To play as Akuma, choose Super Turbo as your fighting style, then highlight Ryu for 7 seconds, followed by T. Hawk from the right for 7 seconds, then Guile from the left for 7 second, followed by Cammy for 7 seconds by going down and right. Then finally highlight Ryu again by going left and then up from Ken, once again stay on him for 7 seconds before pressing start and all 3 punch buttons at once. Here's a video demonstration. Popular Post AJ_Radio
I was not expecting an actual trophy list. Bravo Capcom, you're giving the retro gaming fans who like trophies something to cheer about.
Popular Post Copanele
Huh that list doesnt look too ba--aaand there it is, that "finish the arcade mode with all characters in all games". Never change Capcom (That is actually a pretty solid list otherwise wow)
You
Let's hope there is an ingame counter to remember which characters you played as. Completing Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo with Dan might be the hardest challenge. His attack sends ONLY Red Gems, so unless you send a combo over to your opponent to kill them instantly. You're basically done for.
Ramzamham
I'm honestly surprised there is no online trophies. Being a capcom fighter and all. But overall seems like a pretty fun list.
You
The online trophies kinda spoiled the Street Fighter collection one, and the other Capcom collection had weird bronze only super grind ones. The Belt Action one was on the whole much better and is more like this one. I think all of us can be thankful of no online trophies, online trophies suck and only make the game suck even more in 10 years time when everyone panics and suddenly you need to boost all the online trophies before the server goes down.

RoastedPeanut
For the most part it seems simple enough and all the trophies are tied to offline mode. Complete every game with every character sounds like a hell of a time though
aikikalaskamaido
Doesn't look too hard The most important thing is that CAPCOM finally gave the platinum this time

Personally, I think Collection Completionist and Unbeatable Warrior look to be the most difficult and time consuming.

charxsetsuna
Collection Completionist is giving me flashbacks to when one of the samurai warriors 4 games wanted me to play every level as every available character for that level. That's not a good thing.

ExHaseo
Collection completionist sounds like an absolute nightmare. It shouldn't be especially difficult, but it's going to take forever. Since I imagine by "complete" it means beat arcade mode. As a rough estimation, there's a total of 10 games and there's around 10-20 characters in each. So we'll say an average of 15 characters since I don't have time to look up the roster for every single game. Arcade modes generally have about 8 matches, and if you can change the round settings to 1, you're looking at 8 rounds total per run. So you're looking at more than 150 runs with more than 1200 total matches. Then take into account that on the easiest difficulty, each match should take around 30-60sec with loading times, given loading times aren't insane. If you average that to 45 seconds, you're looking at at least 15 hours of grinding through arcade mode. That's already pretty miserable, but realistically it's probably around 20+ though. Since switching games and restarting with a new character is going to take a lot longer than 45sec, and you're still liable to occasionally lose, especially to some of these old school boss characters. Otherwise, it doesn't look too bad.

Unless there is some sort of time skip/rewind feature (sometimes in older games) it'll be a long, long run to do all chars on all games.

Popular Post MvComedy
I am pretty pleased, myself. Platinum No online trophies No combo challenges No doing X move XXX number of times Pretty much all the things that made past Capcom fighters incredibly hard, tedious, or frustrating to complete are not present here. And as for Collection Completionist, I see it as an added incentive to play through as all characters and view all of the endings. It will take a while, sure, but at least there is a payoff in addition to the trophy.
Xugoshi
Now THAT is a beautiful plat! I don't care if I have to grind, I'll take grindy trophies over online trophies any day! Perfect for my 100th plat!

SegaJAM
Eh, I'd personally prefer more challenge out of these trophies. They're all easy, especially since it supports save states. Without save states, you'd ALL be whining about Hyper Street Fighter 2's glitched difficulty (insane input reading even at difficulty 1). lol At least the trophy for completing every game with all characters will give a reason to keep coming back to it.
