So, in Fe, you play as some fox-like creature and you defend your forest friends from evil shadow monsters. OK, that was easier than I thought. Popular Post MattbluePT Posted August 12, 2022 Popular Post Share Posted August 12, 2022 So, had two votes for Arctic Fox as I have completed Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy (Well, Daxter turns into an ottsel, so definitely fits the animal category) and Baboon! (the baboon is the main character). I'm also in doubt if I can use Energy Balance , as one of the characters in the cutscenes who is aboard the ship is some kind of robotic cat, but in the game we don't actually play nothing in a way that it participates. I'm sure everyone knows what both of them are about ? As for where to put my vote, I guess I just don't have nearly enough time to complete games to really make a difference for my actual pick, which was the African Rhino Calf... so, I'll be switching gears here and putting my votes into something where they do have an impact, which will be the Red Panda. He's a mouse-like creature, a companion to one of the main characters. Often used as a tool to pick up items or traverse the environment but also has quite a lot of dialogue in the story. More in him HERE . If it counts then my vote for this one goes to the Jerboa. Edit: just saw the new rule about voting only for animals that already have a vote. In this game you play as a bunch of WW2 battleships in the form of anime girls. Normaly this wouldn`t be a game for this event, but most of the girls from the sakura empire (one of the four main nations and home to the 2 main protagonists) have animal features (rabbit, tanuki, cat and fox ears and tails) and for the platinum you must marry all the girls, so it takes the animal loving on a whole new level. Popular Post Breakingthegreen Posted August 15, 2022 Popular Post Share Posted August 15, 2022 Hello again friends for one last time, because I've done game number 10 and I saved the best for last, (and by saved, I mean played what ever I felt like and realised it worked for this too,) it's Batman Arkham Asylum (PS3). A game that has been in my backlog for literally 10 years because of that one missable trophy at the very end of the game.) Animals in question... Bats, Crocs, Crows, and The Riddler. It's my least favourite out of the 4 major games in the franchise, mostly because I thought the open world suited the games very well, they also handled some more delicate subjects better, to be honest I wasn't sure why I didn't expect to be facing enemies who's only motive was "Being a Lunatic" in an asylum, but it sure was a thing that's in the game. It's still a very good game who's scope feels a little more manageable compared to the other games. Red Pandas.... Entwined has you play as two birds simultaneously who at the end of the level fuse into a dragon, and Brawlout has a cast of playable characters who include an ape, frog, shark, chameleon and multiple birds. It's not exactly animal heavy... but ... the game features a lot of movie clips that you joke about, and a fair number of them involve or are entered around animals... One of the playable character avatars is a Gecko, and one is a dinosaur... The unofficial "Mascot" of the game is a crocodile... ...so I leave it up to @MissShake I guess ?- but if it is eligable, then my vote goes once again to my Hedgehog friends! Cassylvania Posted August 19, 2022 Share Posted August 19, 2022 So, uh... I played Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA. The game takes place on an island after you get shipwrecked. There are two birds (a parrot and shoebill) and some hamster-like things called pikkards that join your crew of castaways. You have to rescue the pikkards and do quests for the birds, such as finding them food, so I'm going to say it counts for the event. One more for Team Panda...
