Okay, so I got so into Nexomon: Extinction that I almost forgot to redo my list. Here is my final list just on the last day before the event starts... and I have to spend all day to get those last two platinums I was working on (Adventures of Mana / Nexomon: Extinction) before the August 1, and the latter is going to take all day because of the stupid grinding I have to do because they added in 46 new Nexomon so "Obtain all Nexomon", the only trophy I have left to earn, will require me to get ALL OF THOSE.

 

Burning the midnight oil to get Adventures of Mana off the docket so I can shut down my Vita and use the charge cable for my PS4 controller. (angry face)

 

But the list... right...

Didn't want to pull in some EZPZs but there weren't many good options for some URL IDs which didn't require paying good money. LEGO City will have to wait until I get my Social Security payment, so I can be assured I have some money down for it(unless the game is on sale). Was going to add Dark Cloud but Artifex Mundi is not going to let me escape without a game or two from its belt to stain my record. *sigh*

You could always use both Nexomon: Extinction and Adventures of Mana as part of your list if you don't manage to get them finished before August 1st

You can prep as many games as you want. Only the last trophy needs to be done during the event time

Too late for that, as I just got the platinum for those games. It's not a big deal as I need to clear some backlog anyways and am willing to go try stuff I did on older accounts. (I really think LEGO City Undercover isn't a bad game, aside from one timed mission near the end.)

Speaking of willing to try stuff...

 

I really wanted an excuse to do Chrono Cross, so I bought it again on the PS5 and decided that since the PS5 has no love, I am going to play that remake on the PS5 to see if it looks better.

 

I have access to a set of videos by Optinoob which is a commentated play on what to do. Yes, I know that means I have to do a lot of reloads to get the multiple endings and trigger the big MacGuffin to summon everyone into my party for that 'recruit all the guys' trophy, but you know what? I suffered through that ending watching for its prequel, Chrono Trigger, which I enjoyed playing, and I want to give its sequel the grand due. (And since the battle boosts will be on with 100% more evasion and invincibility, why not?) I mean, I have two months to complete all this stuff.

 

As soon as I get back from my workout session tomorrow I'll start "Unpacking" and getting the event rolling. Good luck to everyone participating!

Dropping my list here just a short while before the event kicks off. I say this now, but I shouldn't have any big changes to my plan, unlike last year (thanks AC Valhalla and the St. Faith glitch haha). Planning on a big backlog burn, including Final Fantasy plays to prep for a Kingdom Hearts binge... neither franchise I've touched before (apart from say at a friend's house briefly in the PS2 days). As such, my plan is:

Well seeing as how it is finally after midnight Aug 1 I have gotten my first game done. It was so hard not to just finish it since I had all the annoying stuff done weeks ago.
