Streaming ps3 version on ps5

I tried to stream this game on a 500/500mbit connection at my ps5. It runs terrible. Is there any way to download these classics?

i really want to platinum it, but cannot play like it is now…

Pretty sure the PS3 catalog is purely run through streamed emulation, meaning no downloading to your console.

Anyone else having problems with games running like crap. The intro was quite laggy, and the gameplay was not too crisp either. Havent really tried this out much.

 

And is there any reason they could not allow to download the games locally

I have very good internet, but always experience some type of input lag over ps now, but nothing that ever makes the game unplayable

I've actually had the game run really well. I was pleasantly surprised. I had tried doing streaming on PS Now a couple years ago and it was...fine. I tried again since the new service launched at streaming has worked great for me.

 

The PS3 was a different architecture from the other consoles. Basically for that console Sony decided they were going to go off in their own direction and develop their own technology ecosystem for their consoles. It didn't go well and they moved back to more traditional hardware for the PS4.
