This is my thought as well, if we don't get new trophies with 3.0 I imagine we'll not be seeing any more new trophies at all.

I always love trophy support, but after a while it would also be nice to be able to "Move on"

But, it's always a good way to get even more players back to your game, in this case the trophy hunters.

Most of them wouldn't start it again after the 100% after all.

 

Anyway, I think we will get new trophies for the new area, yeah.

When Dragonspine was introduced in 1.2, we initially didn't get any new trophies for that sub-region. We later got them along with the Reputation and abyss trophies, so I wouldn't be surprised if some Chasm-related trophies appear in 3.0

Probably. Since the main story is not over by any means (we are not even at patch 3.0 and I guess it has to reach 7.0 to the very least) and they usually add them for every main archon quest/new region unlocked (chest related ones, oculis, miscellaneous ones...).
