How to trivialize the DLC difficulty

@Tentativeuser came up with this strat after I told him about extra mode.

You can just load up the DLC missions on Extra Mode by pressing triangle on the mission in single player. Extra mode gives you infinite mp and stamina, even on Chaos/Bahamut difficulty. It doesn't disable trophies. Use extra mode and the Liberator job or its upgrade, Divine Knight.

 

Liberator has the passive Ability Mighty Guard Mastery which prevents HP from falling below 1 while active. 

Just turn it on when the mission starts and it'll never run out because you have infinite mp. 

 

Therefore, you're essentially invulnerable and can ignore all boss damage and attacks. Just spam R1 and your other abilities freely.
