1. Make sure that you own the Insurgent Pack DLC, which in itself is not a free DLC.

- Even with PS Extra or PS Premium, the Insurgent Pack is not included within both PS Plus tiers.

- Should be logical that you must own the DLC, because the trophy Finders Keepers - Collect 25 Online Collectibles is part of the Insurgent Pack DLC's trophy set.

 

2. It may happen sometimes that you can not destroy one of the Online Collectible boxes due to a bug or something.

- I for myself never experienced that I where not able to destroy one of the said boxes, but it can happen.

- There is no guarantee that both feature a complete list, since the community only found the linked sites while searching the internet.

Also I recommend to search a player now, who can share you the Pistols Only Warzone (it is an official map), where only pistols, melee and only some skills are allowed, maximum of 18 players and 11 bots maximum with difficulty fixed at normal.
To be able to open the Pistols Only Warzone yourself, you must join a open session with this map. After that, the Pistols Only Warzone should be listed in your warzone history. Also the Pistols Only Warzone features the map The Penthouse, which is the ideal map for the hunt for online collectible boxes due to the maps small size, compared to other maps.

Other maps for the online collectibles:
The Veteran-3
Veteran-5

Low health capture modes. 

Domination
King of the Hill
Extended Warzone
New Recruits
Classic Warzone
Team Deathmatch

My recommendations while doing the hunt for online collectible boxes (With The Penthouse still being the best map): 

1. When you get this map, start hunting the online collectible. Only 1 online collectible in each round.
   1. You will get an audio and a visual queue when the collectible is found.
   2. When another player has found the online collectible before you joined the round or shot it before you could, you are out of luck since it is only one collectible 
2. If you get the online collectible, play until your character dies.
3. When your character died and respawned, rubberband your controller and let your character run at obstacles or the walls at the starting point, until the round on the map The Penthouse ends.
4. When the voting for the next map to play comes up because the actual round ended, vote again for The Penthouse.
5. Repeat step 1 to 4, until the trophy for the online collectibles is yours.

Also please be aware that only official warzones (= Every custom warzone which is not created by you!) can feature online collectibles.

--> Means no online collectibles in offline-botzones and/or in warzones you create due to your own boosting needs.

Seams to be the case that i need to add some information regarding the term Botzone, since this term seems to be unclear to some players.. although the following information is known since 2014 (Link 1 / Link 2 / Link 3):
 

The term Botzone is used in Killzone Shadow Fall when a game is played with bots.

In fact there are two different types of Botzones: 

1) Online Warzone, where bots can be enabled --> This way you will get challenge progress, so you will be able to make progress for trophies.

2) Offline Botzone --> No challenge progress, which means no trophies.
 

This means: Yes, the game features a mode called Offline Botzone where you can play offline against bots, but when you start a Offline Botzone match you will be presented a message showing this text:

Botzone
No challenges are unlocked or statistics saved when playing Botzone
Play Now?
 

--> No challenges are unlocked means that you will make no progress for the ability trophies and because of this, you will not be able to get the Jack Of All Trades trophy in Offline Botzones. 

• Every ability trophy in Killzone Shadow Fall's MP mode is tied to challenges, where the challenges are unlocked due to using an ability many times. 
• This is also true for the weapon usage challenges (killing enemies with a weapon in a special way or with a special weapon attachment).

 

.. which will practically even make the platinum of the basegame unobtainable for fresh starters, besides the 100%.

Also I want to share a general advice for people which only boost the mp trophies:

• When you create a new warzone, you are able to make some adjustments in the Settings tab.
• In the Settings tab, if you play with up to 4 human players simply select 4 for the Maximum players setting.
  • If you play with more then 4 human players, adjust the setting.
  • This setting does not affect the maximum of bots, since setting the number of bots and their difficulty is done via the Bots tab.
• While browsing the Settings tab, also take a look at the Challenge requirements setting.
  • For this setting, if no hardcore veteran players of the game with lots of completed ingame challenges (Which means: More challenges completed as you would ever complete yourself while doing your multiplayer trophy journey!) are helping you, set the Challenge requirements setting to Less then 1000. 
    • This way you are safe from veteran players of the game joining your boosting rounds and simply killing you over and over again.
    • And yes, I know that there is a setting called Enter security code, but as can be read in the setting's description, activating the Enter security code deactivates the unlocking of challenges, which hinders your overall trophy progress.

While I was boosting the Jack of All Trades trophy and the other trophies related to abilities, I used a spreadsheet (*.xlsx) which was send to me from a player managing a large boosting group years ago.

from what I saw only some trophies were unreachable after the servers closed, could someone confirm this for me? would it be possible for me to focus only on the trophies that were unreachable and do the rest later? the trophies are "Finders Keepers"(dlc1) and "Necromancer"(dlc2), there is no warning of unreachable trophies in the base game. could someone confirm this for me? I'm at 0% in the game but I'd like this platinum and I'm deciding today if it's worth starting

Took me about 4 and a half hours to get 8 collectibles, not great not terrible. Sometimes i just straight up cannot find them or someone else gets them first but shouldn't be terrible to finish.

No, almost all trophies in the multiplayer section of the trophy guide (look here and check the trophies labeled Multiplayer Only in the guide) are in fact unobtainable if the servers are closed.

Yes there is both a visual and audio queue that the collectible has been found. Also pretty much everyone playing right now is doing trophies so you'll see everyone quit.  You can also see it on the map if its been gotten or not when you respawn so just suicide if you're unsure.

==> DLCs are not included with PS Extra. Only the stand-alone version of the Intercept co-op expansion and the basegame are free with PS Extra.

Yes, only the 2 following trophies are theoretically obtainable with Offline Botzones, because they seem to be not tied to challenges:
Ignore that, the following trophies will also be gone for good, because the description says Multiplayer Map and not Offline Botzone Map.

1. Tourist - Complete a match on every multiplayer map
2. Dominator - Win a match on every multiplayer map

Tied to challenges and not obtainable in Offline Botzones are the following trophies:

1. On Your Way - Complete 200 challenges
2. Multiplayer Elite- Complete 400 challenges
3. Million Points - Get a total of 1,000,000 points in multiplayer
4. Scout - Max out any upgradable Scout ability
5. Support - Max out any upgradable Support ability
6. Assault - Max out any upgradable Assault ability
7. Jack Of All Trades - Max out all upgradable abilities
8. Weapons Specialist - Unlock all attachments for all weapons
9. Decorated - Earn a total of 500 accolades

Shooting the online collectible boxes works, see this video (0:49 seconds to 0:56 seconds).
Maybe you try to hit other random boxes, bot not the online collectible boxes?  

/edit Check if you own the Insurgent DLCs, because when you do not own this DLC you can not destroy the online collectible boxes (source)

No problem. Just hoping that the information is really helpful, nearly 100% correct and people do not think that my comments are annoying. Hell, I even edited some posts many times because I made stupid mistakes while typing. 
But I expect that my comments are buried under the same questions, which will be asked over and over again, at least in 2 or 3 days .

It's a bug. I saw a player who couldn't break intel, but i did. Weird ?

Sorry .. "DLC trophy Like A Boss from Insurgent DLC" .. This will be obtainable, since being full offline mode. Misread your post: You wrote Insurgent, I read Intercept

Regarding Intercept DLC and Intercept stand-alone:
Today I wanted to find that out myself if Intercept content can be accessed with an offline console, so I deactivated the Connect to the Internet setting of my PS5 -> Started Killzone Shadow Fall -> Went to the Co-op tab and was not presented an option to play with bots.
As an example, the Multiplayer tab offers the Offline Botzone mode and Retry (=try to reconnect with the servers). The Co-Op tab only offers Retry.
--> So I would say: The whole Co-op mode is unavailable when the servers are closed, which means that the Co-Op stand-alone and Co-Op DLC for the basegame will not be playable anymore!
