The trophies were easy except for one which I got a little confused about but other than that, it was a very fun game and platinum. my only negative about this game is that its too short I have decided to add an additional game to my list. I have added Little Nightmares, I have previously completed the main story for the game, and loved it so much that I have picked up the season pass. I also have got little nightmares 2 but I plan to try and get 100% on the first game before delving into the sequel. I'm so proud of myself for my backlog progress, thanks to this challenge I have been able to focus on one game at a time rather than bouncing around from game to game like I usually do and never get anything finished.

(Already did all the Rondo of Blood trophies, now just trudging through the Symphony of the Night ones. I stay up all night last night earning trophies. Symphony of the Night was still something I enjoyed from my college years. (Yeah, I came of age before the Super Nintendo was released, that's how old I am. ) I plan on another SotN marathon to clear that game. Just got the trophy for getting the bad ending(killing Richter) and exited out when the trophy popped so it didn't autosave. I actually have 80% of the normal castle mapped and have all three vampire abilities(wolf, mist and bat) and all the bat abilities so I should be done with the game by Halloween.

Popular Post Heather342
Update 8 Hey challenge friends, hope you've all had an awesome week and earned loads of trophies ? A slightly quieter week for me challenge wise. I managed to finish up Doki Doki Literature Club fairly quickly at the start of the week. Some of the RNG to get the miscellaneous ghost menu to appear was a little bit annoying, but thankfully it didn't take too long for it to show. Once that was done the plat was pretty much in the bag, just had to get the good ending and then read the note from the developer. This is a very good game, definitely one to check out if you haven't. Once that was done I played a bit more Persona 5 Strikers, mostly grinding out the battle against Metatron for bond XP. I've got to level 91 now, so still a bit more to go to get to level 99, hoping it won't take too long. Also managed to get the trophy for defeating The Reaper, so just the bond XP and the Persona Compendium to finish up. But as I want this plat to be a milestone, I still had 3 more trophies to get so that it'd all line up. So the rest of the week I was playing Horizon Forbidden West to get the last trophy in the DLC - finishing the game on Ultra Hard mode. I'd spent quite a while upgrading my gear in previous playthroughs, and the bulk of the game wasn't that difficult. Until I got to the final boss fight. Urgh, the Spectre Prime suuuuuuucks!!!! I think I spent about 5 hours on it and died a whole bunch of times. Plus I think I had some weird glitch happen, I went into the battle fully stocked with healing items and ammo etc, but after about the 8th or 9th time I died, it seemed to checkpoint me and my inventory was depleted loads, but I still had to fight the boss from the beginning ?. It made everything way harder than it needed to be, but it's done now, and I don't have to do it again ?. Now I just need to earn 2 random trophies before finishing up P5 Strikers ?. That's all from me, catch you guys and gals next week! Trophy progress: Doki Doki Literature Club - 74 -> 100% Persona 5 Strikers - 76 -> 79% Pending games: Red Dead Redemption 2 - 34% Detroit Become Human - 0% Completed games: The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy
Popular Post StilRh
Heyup lovies, Another platinum this week and a good dent in a backlog game. Observer redux and Shovel Knight puzzle dungeon respectively. I liked Observer as an experience more than a game and I think the platinum slog took fun out of what would be a well presented sci-fi horror story. Puzzle knight has been a fun diversion, I'll keep plugging away at this as a palate cleanser between other games as it's a bit samey (probably will find a fresher experience when I play other characters with unique mechanics). Off-list I've played Star Ocean Divine Force which is a fun little AA/B-list JRPG, I hope it's enough to sustain the Star Ocean series as Spoiler I actually enjoyed 4 and 5. I've also played Bannerlord. When I was a PC gamer I must have sunk 100's of hours into mount and blade so it was an instant-buy from me. It's been ported to the PS5 really well and I've not encountered bugs or jank. I'm not ambitious enough to go for the platinums in either of these two games. This week I'd like to play more Shovel Knight and maybe start Wildfire again (I love the premise - think 2D stealth/murder simulator) but it's a bit slow which is why I shelved it when I bought it initially. I will also be thinking about drilling deep into Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 3 next week as I'd love to knock this out in a single month as end of challenge victory lap. Considering buying the new God of War and Final Fantasy Tactics games on release but I don't think I'll include them in the challenge. Been some changes in my work recently. I've deloaded some of my responsibilities and taking a slight cut in working hours and pay as a result. I think this will actually give me more time to play and more money (as I sink a lot into transport, child care, work socials and takeout when I am working 60+ hour weeks)... so watch this space Have a good week guys. Popular Post Xenoblast91
[UPDATE 2.0] Wonderful month! Have been incredible since I've been able to finally knock out several games that I really liked was a long time ago and finally got the time enough to it started doing it finally. Also, this is a thing that I wanted like to share without of you, signs these games have finally being. Since the spooky season is already over us, and following that the Holidays will come, I think it is a good idea to start and finish games that could match this yearly times around. I've been playing other games not listed here for the challenge, but I'll try to make my list updated and since I spend most of my time in that, the entries for this thread has been lackluster, and I apologize for such inconvenience... Anyway, there has been a good progression, to say the least. The games I picked are A LOT grindy, and as you could imagine they take its toll to grab their respective 100%. Let's move towards them. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 ~ 41%➡55% Dragon Ball Z Xenoverse ~ 30%➡65% GT Sport ~ 55% [No change] UNO ~ 0%➡100% Sonic Adventure ~ 0% Just Cause 4 ~ 0% [Swap #1] Castlevania Anniversary Collection ~ 0%➡15% This might look like slow progress, and could be, but the effort put since my last update has been monumental. I've been working on COD: MW3 with a friend for the Spec-Ops missions and survival modes for a few weeks. We had a lot of fun doing them, and the strategy and tactical feeling from a game from almost 11 years, is purely nostalgic, yet incredibly addicting. I'm planning to start the campaign on November 1st, and finishing onwards by the last third of the month. The problem with this, is that you only get a single bronze trophy for enduring 15 waves on all maps of survival mode, and another (this is a silver at least...) for the 16 special ops maps of the game in Veteran. Yes. That's a lot of effort for just such small reward. However, the fun it brings to you is noteworthy, I think. But you can still feel the COD formula through all it; the fast-paced and adrenaline shot it gave is outstanding. It's sad that just few games on current generation can lift the same feelings and emotions, but surely, there are all over. Following that, DB: Xenoverse has been proving an interesting title so far. I consider myself an avid fan of Goku's adventure since a kid. So it is natural that this game is likable by me; but what I can argue about is its horrendous RNG nature for completing requirements to earn stuff you need in order to attain 2 bronze trophies. That is basically the principal activity you'll spend while hunting the Platinum. Nevertheless, you'll start to understand its mechanics: this game is a mixture of a fighting MMOJRPG with feeling of simulator stuff. I absolutely love the fact that I can play as a Saiyan. A dream became true! Earning the power-up to increase your ki and bleach your hair to make you powerful enough is incredibly satisfying. The best part is that, giving its RPG brushes, you can build your character whatever you want; and I choose the path to be a ki blaster spammer. For the Platinum that's enough, but for competitive... that's another story. Anyway, this game has been a wonderful experience so far, and while it is truly repetitive and grindy, it has its charm. At the begining of the month, a quick and relaxing game as UNO could be, helped me to free myself from a game that wanted to 100% long ago. The game, as charming as it is, can be a hard work as you'll need pals to help you with few trophies. Well... is a cooperative and also a multiplayer game on its core, so what to expect then? It was fun too, and way easier from what I was expecting. Also, it made me remember a lot of the tabletop real life game, so when a match with my friends happen in the future, I'm sure I'll kick all their asses out pretty quick, LOL. As mention in the intro, the spooky season is here. Last year I encountered a gem (Lords of Shadow), and following the likeness I have to play certain games given the year time, continuing with the tradition, a new Castlevania from the series should be the inheritor for this year as well. And a good idea would be to start with its roots. Anniversary Collection is currently on sale if you want to try it out, and this proves that the classic, old games from the NES era are still on top of the best games ever released. I'm surprised the amount of time you could clog into them back in the day with no guides, YouTube or any other direction about what you should do, especially for C: II as the game is open-ended and there are no hints whatsoever to tell you what to do or even perform. Just pure trial and error; and that could have been the charm about it when it firstly was released 30 years ago. Going for the remaining trophies meanwhile too, so I hope to beat it soon before this first week of the month ends. That's all I can share to all my fellow hunters! I hope that this time around can all you have a fun time and enjoy Fall with ease and good vibes. Be responsible, and don't let the scary and eerie feeling of the times get caught to you! See y'all soon and again as always, happy hunting!

Popular Post YaManSmevz
Update #6 11/1/22 Sheesh man, I can't believe I ended up neglecting updates for so long! Real life has been busy, and since my progress was moving at a snail's pace I didn't wanna take up any real estate here when so many of you are slaying games left and right. Kept telling myself "next week, next week," and... well, we all know where that attitude will get you? Given how much I have to cover here, I'ma keep it real quick. Just cuz y'all ain't seen me in three weeks doesn't mean anybody wants a novel? Katamari Damacy Reroll... ugh. Been stalling and stalling with this one. One month left so it's time to give myself a slap across the face and get to work. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist was so much fun that I had to admit how wrong I've been to barely even dabble in the franchise. It gets a lil over the top action movie at times, but I ain't even gonna pretend the gameplay isn't spectacular. Resident Evil is still astounding. I forgot what an amazing remake this is, something that I still consider mandatory playing even twenty years after its release. It has no business looking as good as it does, and damn if it wasn't a perfect game for October? Grand Theft Auto IV may have awkward driving and controls compared to V, frame rate issues, and not even look as good as RE despite coming out six years later, but it's just as fun as I remember. The online is almost done, which feels great, and I can't wait to get back into that story. The Godfather Part II has lived up to the complaints of it being short, easy, and highly underdone in comparison to its predecessor, but there's a lot of good about it too, and I've been really enjoying it. Finally, Smackdown Vs Raw 2010 does feel inferior to the other games in the franchise that I played way back when, but I ain't even mad at it. It's still a good time, controls well, and has all those silly ass storylines I remember laughing at. Between this and Godfather 2, I can't help feeling like it's the mid 2000s again, and I will never be mad at that? Okay, all done!! Sorry for all the video game vomit, I will try to reel it in for the rest of the month. I've also got a LOT of reading to catch up on, so I'm looking forward to that? Thanks a lot guys! Here's to finishing strong? 1. The Hong Kong Massacre ️ 2. Bastion ️ 3. Katamari Damacy Reroll (91%) 4. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist (35-->100%) ️ 5. Resident Evil (40-->100%) ️ 6. Grand Theft Auto IV (0-->18%) 7. The Godfather II (0-->27%) 8. WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2010 (0-->41%)

Yes, I know I can hit R button to speed up battles. What separates it from the PS4 version is that in the Vita version, they have a five second cutscene showing the battlers which is not there in the PS4 version. Not saying the Vita version sucks or anything, It just takes 5% longer to complete battles.
