Popular Post MidnightDragon
Update time! Chrono Cross-2% Dragon Quest Builders 2 Hoard-4% Spider-Man: Miles Morales Stray TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection-45=>63% Going a bit out of order on the list now and did the NES version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Tournament Fighters. I'm not a big fan of fighting games, but this one wasn't too bad. I mainly won by having Raphael jump and gnaw on everyone's heads. No other way I can describe it. I remember Blanka doing this in Street Fighter II. It was kind of weird. It went pretty quickly. You fight just six opponents and it's done. Next on the list was the SNES version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Tournament Fighters. I decided to use Donatello in this instead of Raphael since I thought I'd be making life easier. This wasn't quite as quick and easy as the NES version and had stronger Street Fighter vibes. I had to save and reload and rewind quite a bit to finish. Again, fighting games aren't really my thing, but still wasn't too bad. I had to finish by timeouts with the most health due to my lack of skills. I still have the Genesis version to do, but decided to leave it until next time. The games I have left are Tournament Fighters Genesis, TMNT III: Radical Rescue (GB), TMNT: The Hyperstone Heist (Genesis), and TMNT IV: Turtles in Time (SNES). Gonna try to finish by Saturday since football is on Sunday, but we'll see how it goes. Edited September 9, 2022 by MidnightDragon

Overwatch - need to win 100 online games, reach lv. 50, as well as a couple other misc. things. I'm hoping to finish this before month end but I suspect I'm not even half way done. Little Nightmares - just need the deathless speedrun here. I've done one run and came in just over time but with many many deaths, so I just need to practice a bit, and get a bit lucky. There is the option to save-scum but I'm not willing to do that until I've at least given it a good few tries. Genshin Impact's gonna be an ongoing game for the foreseeable future, especially since the recent update was quite substantial. Final Fantasy XIV is just over the 50% mark, but even if it was eligible, I don't think I can in good conscience pick it as I genuinely don't know if it would be possible to finish it in that timeframe. Hope to make progress regardless, but won't go too hard as I don't want to burn out on it. Anyway, onto my list of actually eligible games... Going to carry over most of what I didn't get finished in the last period as I do want to play and finish these. I enjoyed my time with Stray, and the bottom 3 are all games I've picked up and am very keen to check out at some point, so am super interested to see your thoughts on 'em and maybe get some inspiration / bump 'em up the backlog.

Popular Post MidnightDragon
Update time! Chrono Cross-2% Dragon Quest Builders 2 Hoard-4% Spider-Man: Miles Morales Stray TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection-63=>90% Completed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (Genesis), The Hyperstone Heist, and TMNT III: Radical Rescue for GB. Here's my impressions of all three: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters for Genesis was by far the hardest one of the three. You have to play on max difficulty and there isn't any real easy way to do it. You can set it to 1 round to save yourself some headaches, but it'll mostly be just liberal rewinding and saving and reloading. It was quite frustrating, but it still wasn't all that bad. TMNT: The Hyperstone Heist is basically the Genesis version of Turtles in Time. It has a different story and setting, but the game plays similarly. I was a bit disappointed you couldn't toss enemies at the screen in this or, at least, I couldn't figure out how to do this. Most of the bosses felt a bit harder than they did in Turtles in Time, but that might just be my imagination. The final boss is super easy since you can easily dodge his attacks. Still, after some of the stuff you did to get there, was somewhat welcome. I also wasted a lot of time on one boss before I figured out what I was doing wrong. Still, I enjoyed it a lot, but not as much as Turtles in Time. TMNT III: Radical Rescue is my least favorite game in this collection. Yes, even more than TMNT NES. At least that game had some enjoyable moments. I played as all four Turtles in this, but it was partially because you only have Michelangelo from the get go and have to unlock the rest. This had a very Metroidvania style, which seemed cool. However, I got annoyed that I often had zero idea what the hell I was doing. Even the enhancement for this game wasn't very useful. I almost cheesed it, but ultimately decided not to. Still, I might do so on PS5. I do NOT want to play this again! Now all that remains is one of my all time favorite TMNT games and one I spent many hours on back in the SNES days; TMNT IV: Turtles in Time. This will be the last game I play before I get the platinum trophy.

Which version, because you're definitely not going to complete the PS4 trophy list in under two months considering that one of the trophies requires six months of accruing allowances for levequests. I know for personal experience. All iin all, Mr-ttaM, good luck on the event! I might get my last two games finished before time and might have to add some more.

So even though it might be possible, my fate and guildhest counts are sooo low that it'd still be hundreds of hours to get finished. Thank you! It's still my favorite of all the TMNT games. There are some minor differences from the arcade version, like with TMNT Arcade and TMNT II: The Arcade Game. It's just as enjoyable as when I first played it. You can see more of what I thought here. Popular Post Darling Baphomet
So, good news and bad news! The good news: I set up my PSVR and it still works, temperamental cables be damned, so I'll be adding the PSVR games from last event as planned. The bad news is I spent almost every waking moment (... I wish I was exaggerating) of the month so far playing Civ 6, so I've yet to make any actual progress. Oops. Going to start Cyberpunk 2077 though, and hopefully have that knocked out in a few weeks - shouldn't be as intensive as Skyrim VR's plat was, but who knows? It was basically Fetch Quest: The Game but I still enjoyed playing it with a guide. A guide is definitely needed as there are way too many things to mess up including what you do, what you say, and potentially even what you wear can affect things. There's also a ton of endings where if you don't save scum, you're going to be enjoying the game many times. I also picked up The Forgotten City thinking it would be a nice easy platinum but apparently that isn't necessarily the case; if you are too slow you can mess up where NPCs are and I actually made it to a point where my quest isn't updating anymore despite talking to everyone I can so I have to restart. That's no fun. I don't really have much drive to play my other games so I might actually be thinking about using my swaps but we will see.

Popular Post StilRh
First update for me. Hope you've had a good time so far guys. I managed to platinum Children of Morta a beautiful and charming game. I dropped it some time back because I was at a point where difficulty ramped above character progression and I was limited in what characters I had access to... If only I had played for 45 minutes longer (I reloaded my old save) everything would have 'clicked' and the gameplay loop have been fun once more. I didn't like the last 5 hours of the platinum hunt though, rerunning looking for rare events and drops was a chore. I've also played Little Noah: Scion of paradise which remains a light anf fun roguelite and I was a teenager exocolonist which is a nice VN with light deckbuilding mechanics that feels much in the same vein as Long live the Queen. Teenage exocolonist seems to have some trophies bugged so I'm temporarily shelving it until it's patched. I've heard that some trophies are not obtainable for Indivisible and I'm wondering if I should swap this out down the line. This week I want to plu away at a few of the easier games since the last few weeks have been very work heavy. Popular Post Fanatixa1
Hi everyone, Here's my update for the week. I've been mostly playing Two Point Campus and Cult of the lamb. Both games are super enjoyable and just what I need at the moment. I'll be moving from Spain to the Netherlands in 2 weeks and I have a lot to do, so these chill management games are perfect. Because of the move I don't have a tv from today, so I'll only be playing Vita games in the coming weeks. This afternoon I got struck by some bad luck.. The house I'm renting in Madrid has an old Samsung tv, but after plugging it today, it died on me after only 2 hours.. It just faded to black out of nowhere and doesn't want to show any image. So like I said, only Vita games from now on. Today I started playing Ratchet and Clank for Vita and I will add it to the list. It plays a bit clunky on Vita, but after I once started it in 2019 I've been meaning to complete it. I love Ratchet and Clank as a franchise, I just need to look past the clunkiness. I also would like to make my first swap. I will swap the Escapist; the Walking Dead for Ocean Horn: Monster of Uncharted Seas. Have a good week everyone!
