Is replaying scene 7 the most tedious chapter of supermassive back catalog?

 

Ill save you the trouble. It is.

 

never before has a chapter been in such dire, dire need of some kind of skip function. Utter tedium.

It was great the first time. But there's too little meaningful variation for it to be fun after that. I just made sure I had something I could be doing when I had to replay through that like 4 times.

What I wished I had done is planned better the route to plat and made a save to cloud right before the last qte in that chapter, which is right at the end of it. That way I could have just got away with maybe only needing to sit through the whole thing only twice. But I really wanted to do a blind playthrough 1st time up and that kinda messed up any sense of platinum efficiency

 

but yeah, there is no variation outside of the very last qte in that scene. Long, drawn out exposition which is fine the 1st time (but even then I had feeling of, wow, this chapter really drags itself along a drawn out path), but offers no interest at all once you’ve played it once.

It was my favorite chapter on the first playthrough, but in all runs after that it was a chore.
SMG should urgently offer a skip function for their games after the first playthrough at the latest, but then there's not much game left (maybe that's why they don't do it).
