I mean, come on how would another game like this not be cool: Maxis and EA came up with some spin-offs, but they never made a full-fledged sequel to Spore. The spin-offs failed really hard, so that's probably why they haven't made another Spore game. Stupid suits only see the sales numbers and make assumptions that no one likes Spore. I mean, that ending was definitely made to link the story to a future sequel, and whoever played Vanquish knows what I'm talking about.
