100% done in under 5 hours

I was just checking out the times for how long it took people to 100% this game and notice someone did it in under 5 hours like how is that possible ???

It's most likely an expert speedrunner who knows the game inside and out.

Also people can have pre created worlds with each of the criteria. Like one that’s 50% hallowed, has all the items, etc. you need, consumables and everything. New player loads in, suits up, picks up and drops everything at least once, etc. 

 

Then they go kill all the bosses. Then the person who has the worlds reloads heir save so they can do it for other people.

I can confirm that this can be done in less than 3.5 hours, even sub 3h might be possible.

 

And as speculated here, the key is to have someone who knows everything and has all the worlds and materials and whatnot.

EDIT: Upon further thinking, sub 2.5h should be possible, maybe even sub 2h. Trophy time, not playing time. Prepare running and digging distance beforehand to optimise.
