I got what I believe will be my final DLC's for the event. Won't have a lot of time to play for the next days.

Total DLC's completed: 55

 

This was a fun event, and I my performance was way better than I expected. Will be eagerly expecting this next year, be it an yearly or a time-limited event.

Went and finished up the DLC for LEGO DC Super-Villains (+3) for most likely a final total of 19. Not bad at all, though nothing compared to the top scorers - very impressive, guys.

Thanks, it was fun! Pulled out Hitman and the Lego game just for this, too.

 

I'm definitely interested in a repeat of the event, but don't have a strong preference on the timeframe.

So I was horrible about making updates during this event, but I did make some pretty good progress!

 

Here are the DLC's I completed:

 

Jurassic World Evo 2:

They were both pretty easy. They've since dropped two more DLC's since I finished those and just re-installed the game to try and finish them, but won't get them done in time for this event.

I started this game since I saw the servers were going down in April and it looked like the kind of game I'd like. I love it in fact and am bummed I just learned about it a few months prior to its demise. I 100% the game relatively fast, but still play it a little each day. It has that 'Clash of Clans' thing going for it, except it is a side scrolling battle. If you like those types of games, there's still plenty of time to get the 100% on this one before shut down.

 

Bioshock (PS3)

DLC Pack 1: Challenge Rooms

 

This set of DLC actually was challenging. I played on the PS3 version for reasons and fully expected to take advantage of the 'glitch' for nightmare mode....the only problem was I didn't read that the glitch only works on specific versions of the PS3 game and the 'Greatest Hits' version I have isn't one of them. I ended up doing the Nightmare mode in Nightmare and I'm actually glad I did. The game was pretty challenging and fun. Finishing 'World of Hurt' in under 15 minutes was the most challenging of the trophies of the DLC for me since I had to do it on Medium, but I got it done with about 30 seconds to spare.

According to my PS stats for the year, I played this game for over 600 hours this year...probably only 20 or so of it on this DLC. It wasn't very hard, but the treasure box trophies are very grindy. I stopped paying attention to the story in this game almost immediately since Paimon makes my ears bleed. If she didn't talk so much, I'd probably have 800+hours in this game since I wouldn't have spammed through all of the talking parts.

 

Gotham Knights

DLC Trophy Pack 1: Heroic Assault

 

This DLC kind of sucked. It does everything I hate about games becoming 'harder'. The boss fights are only harder because they gave them like 1 million health. It took me 30 minutes to beat Freeze (granted my power rating was 3k below what was recommended, but still). The Heroic Assault is 30 floors of the same shit over and over. The game had so much potential to be good and was just the text book definition of mediocre...

 

That completes what I was able to accomplish. I have a handful of DLC that I didn't complete including Horizon Forbidden West, Jurassic World Evo 2, LEGO DC Super-Villains, and Call of Duty: World at War. I'm happy with what I was able to finish though and I appreciate you running the event!

Hello everyone... my apologies for not updating sooner but the holidays are always much busier than expected. I have just completed the final update for this event and a big CONGRATULATIONS goes to @MattbluePT for absolutely crushing the last month with dlc to take the win! My count shows 461 total dlc packs completed. That is pretty incredible for only having 26 people tracked.

 

@Inuty and myself are still working out details for next years dlc event but we are planning on making it throughout the year so those that like to complete the dlc right away can join as well. I will be away the next few days skiing with the family but we will try get the next event thread up as soon as possible. All dlc dated in 2023 will be counted even if they were completed before the event post is up.

Never did make a final post for the last three DLC I did so I will just say that I enjoyed Hitman 2 New York & Haven Island but not as much as Mumbai and Isle of Sgail.The final sniper assassin, Siberia, sucked though.

 

Definitely have Hitman fatigue at this point so I think I will be taking a break before I finish the original game again.

 

It has been a very fun event. I had at one point hoped to squeak into 2nd place but @MattbluePT absolutely killed it in the final stretch making that impossible. @postofficebuddy also made it very difficult to maintain my 3rd position rocketing up the leader board near the end as well. Also shout out to @papert0wng1rl for being my sort of silent rival for a large chunk of the event. Without her I would not have been motivated to do as well as I did.

 

Thanks again @gruffiiti & @Inuty for hosting the event. Looking forward to tackling some more this year! Maybe I will finally get some of my Pinball Arcade DLC done...

I still don't know how I managed to reach this number of dlc, but it was worth it for sure.

 

Congrats to everyone on this event, 461 dlc packs completed by 26 people is indeed a pretty amazing number!

Hey all. I got the badge design down and approved by the event hosts. I will get them posted this weekend at the latest, with the possible exception of the special badge for the first place finisher.  I need to redraw the thing in a different way for that one. I expect it to be done this weekend too, but I got other home improvement projects I'm committing to.

Sorry for the long delay everyone... its been entirely my fault as I got unexpectedly overwhelmed with various things right after the holidays and needed to take care of some irl stuff (work) first. The final updates have been done and badges have been created. If we made a mistake on anyones totals just @ me and we will get it fixed up.
